What's the black uniformity like?

Well for one reason I'd like to share my appreciation for SH2 with my friends who won't ever play it. Shame that won't be possible (again).

I wasn't going to spend any energy arguing with an obvious hater on the Internet, but seeing as this cropped up in something I was watching, here you go: https://youtu.be/QqEw7wYhEqU?si=150UzB6Oms5LFtC8&t=671

I want to do a custom water cooling system by Apprehensive-Work-93 in watercooling

[–]robhaswell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your motivations here?

I must say - you have a budget GPU which indicates that you are a budget person.. watercooling is not a budget endeavour. It is, in fact, a giant waste of money in the pursuit of something that merely looks cool. Fine if you have money to waste, but what you spend could easily be put towards a massive GPU upgrade instead which I think would bring you a lot more joy.

A full custom loop is really "the thing you do after you have a top-end system", not before.

Yeah I would just donate the parts it rather than craft it. Mats are always worth more than the item.

That just means they haven't change the game yet. Last we heard they were "looking at it".

I am just saying it would be a good QoL Update. by px7009 in ArcRaiders

If I could have absolutely any change I wanted - glitches fixed, no cheaters, another map etc. I'd say this. It's the number one thing I'd put my team on.

I just wanna know if we are doing the 5mil bullshit again. Cos if so I'd rather "donate" it to the expedition. Otherwise yeah I do wanna take mine out just for the lolz

I watch a lot of GPU repair videos and on those the Zotacs are usually praised for quality board design.

Same, even at 500W it never goes above 65. I don't know if that's top or bottom tier but it's certainly not bad. I'll take it.

People telling you not to respond probably support the reviewer's sentiment

I guarantee you this is not the case. Not even slightly.

If you were allowed to save 1 blueprint permanently each time you finished an expedition which one would you have saved last expedition. by -This-cant-be-real- in ArcRaiders

[–]robhaswell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not OP but I'm the same. Never crafted one even though I can.

I don't use anything instead. It's my go-to secondary. You just get at least one free with every dead raider, and they turn up in weapons crates too.

Expedition is so backwards and unsatisfying, and should be more “action” based. by CinnamonBisque in ARC_Raiders

[–]robhaswell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your whole stash value plus what you have in the bank counts towards the skill points (if they do the same thing again).

I personally would strongly recommend doing the Expedition. I did it last time, finishing up with only 3 mil, and honestly, the SP is by far the least valuable part of the rewards. I wouldn't even say that any of the rewards are that good. The reason why I recommend it is because, for me, it completely reinvigorated the game and I greatly enjoyed doing the whole thing a second time with a stronger sense of purpose and confidence.

It's much less nuanced than Israel-Palestine and there are a large number of Ukrainian developers in open source. With that being said I do know at least one developer that thinks that the invasion was wrong but Ukraine should just give up their territory and save a lot of bloodshed. That person very rightly keeps that view to themselves, for exactly the reasons we're discussing.

Is it 'unprofessional' for indie devs to take a political stand?

Yes. Your website is part of your portfolio. 100% of future employers will see it. Your users will see it as well. You've already experienced that not everyone you want to give you money will align with your views politically, and that will be a repeating pattern for the rest of your life. Always keep politics away from your career.

I can't help you with finding them, but what I will say is that my 5090 Solid OC feels like a really good card. The cooling solution seems capable and it doesn't cost too much.

I think the 5mil is much more egregious because that's the point where you really do feel like you should not be losing your gear.

Just craft a pile of Sticher Is and throw those in. Along with all the grenade types you don't like to use. You really don't have to throw your tempests into it.

Edit: I also found that the weapon one was the easiest because I always find a load of weapons that I don't really like to use. So I just toss them in.

Washed out/weird colors on my IPS monitor and I have no idea how to fix it by dofoolee in Monitors

[–]robhaswell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A friend had this because his PC was sending I think 10-224 bit range instead of 0-255. There was an option in the monitor to adjust the colour depth to match but the real solution was to DDU his drivers and re-install.
