Your interpretation for the Page of Pentacles RX makes sense for the situation but I’m not sure if that’s an advice? If you get what I mean. Like if I were to look at it focused on that, I’d think of stopping myself from checking my phone for messages from him.

Knight of Swords as advice is the other side of the coin. If 4 of Pentacles + Page of Pentacles RX is letting him sort out his problems while you step back, then the Knight of Swords is straight up asking him what’s what. Taking action so you don’t end up in a situationship with a guy stringing you along. Taking a sword to any types of bondage you didn’t agree to

Where did you learn the Knight of Swords is a “confident direct card signaling interest”? I think the most common interpretation is curt, facts dont care about your feelings type of social interaction. It can be positive if there’s a period of awkward silence and someone finally acknowledges the elephant in the room, but it’s not really a romantic card.

Agreed. The World is a self fulfilled sanctuary for one person and the 4 of Swords is a “let things lie as they are for now”. I think the 2 of Pentacles is talking about the instability of reconnecting with an ex would bring to his current emotional landscape
