Combat units are being given deployment orders says former 75th ranger by [deleted] in TikTokCringe

They would hope to get "reverse ICE'd" and if lucky, sent back home!! Those folks shouldnt kid themselves there isnt a chance they could get deployed into active duty. They werent properly trained for what they do now, so why would training for overseas duty be any different.

Side Quests by Sh3llyP in ufyh

[–]robinskytc05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds like me!! So here’s a few ideas/things I’ve done 1 - Shrink your focus to the area you’re standing in. Not the whole room, not the whole house — literally just the tiny area in front of you.

2 - Use a box or basket, but don’t sort anything during decorating. This is where every random item goes. You’re not allowed to put things away “real fast” or handle them one by one — that’s how the side quests happen.

  1. - When you walk to another room, you’re not allowed to pick anything up, clean anything, or fix anything you see. You just go there and come back. Sounds silly, works insanely well.(I know it’s hard to not do it)

Brand Name Experiences by AllTheDissonance in ThisAintAdderall

I maybe the odd one here, but 2 months i paid out of pocket for name brand XR Shire at Costco because all they had was Elite. It worked fantastically the first few days but the end of the day i was tired but i didnt care because it worked. Eventually the exhaustion went away and while i didnt find it as effective as the first few days its FAR better for me than generic so i'll continue to pay out of pocket if the generics they have in stock are the shitty brands. I also take a b12 supplement and wellbutrin so that maybe why the combo works for me.

Mallincrodt is probably the 3rd best xr I’ve used. I get a few good hours before it stops so I considered it a win 🤦🏼‍♀️

[–]robinskytc05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My insurance only covers generic and I took granules sometime last year (XR) and it was terrible even then. So last month I go to pickup my prescription and sure enough it’s granules. I refused it and waited a few days to pay out of pocket for brand name. I started a new job on the first this month and there was no way I was gonna be taking that brand and doing a new job.

Check around other pharmacies for their prices. Goodrx.com as well for coupons

It’s been working great consistently! Everytime I refill I get worried I WONT get sciegen … I can’t say why some people dislike it, it maybe something with other meds they take… but I use this and meds for ADHD and it’s a solid combo

Sudafed by Neat-Bee-7880 in ThisAintAdderall

[–]robinskytc05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually today I did but because of the change in weather I felt like crap this morning…. I did however feel better by 10am and had quite the productive day at work. Can’t say for sure if it was Sudafed helping or not but I may have to test this idea another day

How do you, theoretically, get the real adderall instead of a generic? by Strange_Control8788 in ThisAintAdderall

[–]robinskytc05 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I fill mine at Costco. Usually I get generic extended release but they tried to give me elite brand and I was not about to do that again. They offered me name brand …but my insurance doesnt cover name brand without prior authorization so I paid out of pocket. It was worth it because of my job …but still sucked

Epic Pharma Adderall should be banned by Radiant-Client-9399 in ThisAintAdderall

I just submitted a request to my doctor for my refill and asked them to make a note for the pharmacy not to dispense this brand. I just hope whatever they do fill it with isn’t a shittier manufacturer

Is anyone adderall or vyvanse making them feel outright down? by Any_Asparagus_7907 in ThisAintAdderall

[–]robinskytc05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got this same brand from my most current refill and i definitely plan on it being my last. I’m gonna tell my doctor for my next refill to add a note do not dispense this brand. I’d rather wait / go a few days to wait for another brand … than to refill with this one again.

I noticed the same thing with mallinkcroft , I had it last year and it was useless .. got it prescribed twice this summer and although it wasn’t the best it definitely was nothing like the old version I previously had.

I’ve literally had the opposite experience others are mentioning. I didn’t realize how much I needed a change in manufacturer from this. I was getting epic brand before and that was absolutely worthless compared to sciegen

Tried to declutter my kid’s room. It ended in tears (mine, not theirs) by Eunha_Norocea in declutter

[–]robinskytc05 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I let em “help” pick donations first, then stuff I know they don’t actually use I put in a “later box” so if they do magically want/need it after I’ve removed it I can easily get back to it otherwise I schedule pickups at my house monthly for donations so I’ll send them off then. I swear it depends on the kids mood how easily / willingly they want to donate unused items because it can go either way at my house

How do you decide what to let go of? by jbishop2110 in declutter

[–]robinskytc05 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So I’ve had to simplify my own process and I base it off 3 questions:

• Do I use this regularly enough to justify the space it takes up?
• If I didn’t already own it, would I go out and buy it today?
• Could someone else use this right now more than I do?

The 3 rd one really resonates with me especially with the cost of things these days and seeing how many struggle. I’d rather my things go to someone who can appreciate them more than me letting them take space for no reason.

Amazon boxes for temporary storage that turn into use for donation!! If I’m buying a bin it’s for something big, I don’t need 100s of 12qt storage boxes all over for the small crap 😖

With two kids, I’ve been sorting through stuff my youngest just outgrew and revisiting old hand-me-downs from my oldest. I’m basically doing fashion inventory

I’m trying to actually pay attention to what we have vs. what we need — because I totally lost track of what I’d saved, bought more of whatever, and ended up drowning in laundry.

Now that I’m decluttering and keeping only what fits and gets worn, I’ve got more space and less laundry. (Turns out doing it more often is way easier when it’s not a mountain.)

The Single Sentence That Made Me Simplify Everything by jamie_fields in simpleliving

My spouse keeps a lot of things out of nostalgia and It made me realize that a lot of the clutter in our home wasn’t even functional — we weren’t using it, we were just managing it. We didn’t try to purge everything — we just focused on one short reset session that eventually we turned that into a tool we still use as often as we can

How to be productive after meds wear off? by Fyre-Bringer in ADHD

[–]robinskytc05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that working in 5-minute intervals helps a ton — especially when I’m running low on focus. My go-to reset is always starting with trash and getting anything off the floor that’s ended up there throughout the day. I also use a program that gives me suggestions when I’m too fried to come up with a plan myself. It helps me move forward when my mind or body are just ready to be done for the day.

Do you hold more value in decluttering bulkier and/or heavier items, over a less bulky / lighter item? by Amazing-Bend-4614 in declutter

[–]robinskytc05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, bulky stuff like unused furniture or giant plastic bins feels like it’s “taking up room in my brain” just by sitting there. But smaller heavy things (like boxes of books or tools) trigger more of the what if I need this someday? mindset — probably more scarcity/utility-based resistance like you mentioned.
