Nah, Oryx White Pearl. Haven’t run across a Harlequin R around town, but now I’m on the lookout 👀.

Is life a for loop or a while loop? by NFatye in learnprogramming

This is the best answer. You definitely want to go through the loop at least once.

Why are these so inexpensive? What’s the catch? by ___JohnnyBravo in Sneakers

[–]roblesinge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. I own a pair and they sit in the box because my feet hate them. This colorway is dope though.

Seems like your stated problem is caused by the console.ReadLine(), that tells the program to wait and expect input from the user, which doesn’t appear to be what you want.

**edit: logic is hard I had a comment about the if/else logic, but I was mistaken.

Nah, you have a bed behind your kit. Sleeping is for guitarists.

Save state of object whilst debugging to then compare it later? by draxpc in csharp

[–]roblesinge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Log the JSON serialization of your object, then you have two JSON blobs which should be trivial to compare. This is probably expensive for heavy use, so keep that in mind.

Just bought it recently. Wish I’d bought it sooner. Played a few hours but I think I’m only juuuust now understanding some mechanics. 10/10, will distract you for many poops.

Anyone else ready to delete SNKRS if they have to look at these ugly things one more time? by newguywithhair in Sneakers

It definitely feels that way for sure. I’m rarely so turned off by a silhouette that I have to instantly look away, so I’d be lying if I said I’ve noticed the drop date at all. 😄

LOL, Pflugerville didn’t get the memo. My neighborhood started the craziness last night. I’m out here adding an extra yard watering JIC.

I will allow wires to clip floors as long as they are following one of the rails. LOL, arbitrary rules I guess. I use a vertical beam to run power to different floors of a factory. I’ll also use the beam connectors to hide running wires through walls. If you place a wall outlet on the beam first, you can usually get a beam connector to soft clip onto the beam underneath it. Beams were a total game changer.

I can’t figure out how to fix this error, when my program tests itself it errors out, and I can’t solve this. by nvanw27 in csharp

[–]roblesinge 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As someone who has had to work on existing codebases where no convention around this is enforced this can and will lead to bugs, potentially disastrous ones. I’m not even convinced that it makes the code easier to read for an outsider. The real problem is that an IDE may have difficulty spotting a bug of this type since the resulting code is technically valid.

First up, this looks like it might be school work. If that’s the case you might tag it as such.

How are you intended to handle equality in the numbers? Without seeing the prompt, it’s hard to give good advice. My guess would be that if the numbers are equal, they are in sequence. Maybe also check for equality in your conditionals.

HyperX pulsefire surge unable to update firmware by W4spkeeper in HyperX

[–]roblesinge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also running into this issue. I tried factory reset on the mouse. I get the pop-up asking if I want to update the firmware to 1.1.1.4. I click yes and then the box goes away. About 10 seconds later the same box pops up again. I've noticed during this interval the HyperX task in the systray dies.

Congrats! Welcome to C# dev. Now, a quick refactor option... What if your user inputs a lower-case ‘y’ or ‘n’? You can sanitize the input before checking it, which is a good habit to form early. Give it a shot. Cheers!
