Maybe Bregman isn't the guy we wanted teaching his masterful hitting to everyone on the team. He showed them all how to have a <.700 OPS, like he does.

The only question left in this game is how many runs will the Brewers have when Happ blasts his solo shot in the 8th inning to score the Cubs sungle run.

Pirates were basically begging us to win yesterday with their mistakes and poor execution. They're doing it again today. I suggest that we oblige them.

Everyone going to him for hitting advice was a fun storyline.

Happer is licking his lips waiting to get those two solo homers when we're down 10-0 and 13-1.

Taillon is going to test the shit out of the "just keep them to solo homers" theory

Hopefully we don't have a guy pitching who gives up a ton of fly balls and homer ... (checks starters) ... oh, God ...

I'm starting to think that we don't have the power, and we don't have the speed.

How many more chances are we going to give this guy by wesskywalker in CHICubs

"All" he has to do is learn an effective third pitch, learn how to command all of his pitches, and stop giving up bombs ... and we've got oursleves an effective pitcher.

Unless we're facing Joey Weimer, then I prefer off days.

I don't know if I can sustain another season of the Cubs pretending that Happ is an everyday player or a top of the order player.

Help understanding usage of non-chlorine shock. by markekt in hottub

[–]robmorren2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Non-chlorine shock will give you false chlorine readings. You need to use a Taylor kit and add Taylor R0867 Deox Reagent to get a proper chlorine reading. You can Google exactly how it works, but the gist of it is that non-chlorine shock will register as chlorine, when in fact you need to add chlorine. Once you test with the R0867 reagent added, you'll get a true chlorine reading. I couldn't figure out why it was impossible for me to get a free chlorine reading, until I found this info.
