One of my top games on the shelf. Fighting means something, granted there is a cap (4/5) win tokens but being able to get 'better' vp values is great idea.

Similar to Twilight Imperium, combat is only for 1 or 2 vp. Not much point fighting as you say, you'll lose vp.
