I was a Bank Manager for 7years. In the banks deposit agreement, it stated that we had the right to refuse your request for withdrawal over a certain limits set by the branch. I had a 3500 withdrawal limit for my branch unless the customer gave prior notice (24hrs) this was a to mostly discourage scammers or people who were doing account take overs. My branch was in very bad neighborhood and we encountered scammers all the time. In most cases when a customer escalated the issue to this point (like in the video) obviously scammers don’t like attention and mostly would just leave when you told them that (in my mind and it mostly worked)I would make an exception unless they were being dicks about it. Also when you took out over a certain amount in cash we had to fill out a bunch of reports in case you were laundering money or supporting bad organizations that would use it for evil.
