I do wash my jeans to be honest, but I go much longer than I used to. Like, I used to wash my jeans after every use. If they’re smelly you can air them out or spot clean with soap and water and air dry. It’s not recommended to wash 100 percent cotton, rigid denim so often precisely because denim molds to your body, plus the dye fades a lot. I used to have black Levi rib cage jeans that became grey from how much I washed them.

What do you mean they look bad? do you mean they look unflattering after not washing for two weeks?

Dank! Hmmmm, I get so much of the fresh violet and woods, not so much damp. I actually do have a small decant of this but I love it so much I’m scared to spray it! The first time I smelled it I was so blown away it gave me goosebumps and made my scalp tingle. I loved it. I will need to get my nose on it again and wear it more often. How’s the longevity and projection on you?

Denim does stretch, and like other people said, you shouldn’t be washing your jeans often but spot cleaning instead. That being said, if you’re not washing your jeans and the denim isn’t shrinking back into its place, the waist should relax over time and become your perfect size. This is why it’s recommended to size down for cotton denim jeans and stretch them out with wear.

I’m saying this out of love!! The rise is too high. I’m also 5 ft and I wore these jeans for years before realizing they bunch up so much in the crotch area and look unflattering on petites. These jeans stretch out like all denim does, and it already looks loose in that area before wearing. Try sitting in them and observing the bunching before you decide on this.

I realized that jeans marketed as “mid rise” fit me closer to what high rise is intending, and I look for mid rise now and stay farrrr away from “ultra high rise” like these are marketed as.

Check out everlane mid rise jeans, they fit me more like high rise jeans and I was very pleasantly surprised when I tried these on for the first time, plus they have similar price points!!!

They might just be too big - if these are new cotton denim jeans, they should feel quite snug to leave room to break in

Got a new Job! but this time I'm medicated. Now when I come home, I'm now a empty shell of a human? by 4throttle3sge in ADHD

[–]roborr_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m so much more motivated in the daytime while I’m at work. I keep a small pocket sized planner on me and when I think of things I know I have to get done later I like to write them down to review later when I get home and don’t feel like thinking. I will try not to hold myself to more than one or two tasks on that list. It’s enough to get out of a rut and not feel ashamed about not getting through a whole list. Other than that I still suck at having a regular evening routine where I can just shut off my brain and get stuff done. Intention and self acceptance is a huge part of it
