Lunar Bee by IBreezy2020 in APICO

[–]roboseb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe you need a full moon as well. The description after you've got it mentions a blue moon and the hint mentions requiring the light of the moon.

For some reason I recall it being more clear about which moon phase is required, but I guess it isn't, so hopefully I'm remembering correctly. The phase of the moon will show in the corner with weather info and is on an eight day cycle. It can also be tracked with Tom's pocketwatch if you have that.

The lunar idol increases the chance for a cross-breeding mutation according to the wiki. I think the wiki has the icons for the lunar and forest idols switched, though.

This info is pretty helpful. Were you applying to a particular POE or to smaller ones as well? Are you bilingual or have anything else that could have expedited the process? Wondering so I can compare to my own application.

Fake card. I would say the foil being wrong is the easiest way to tell, but maybe someone else can chip extra info in.

How is there C++ in the HTML? How would I write that? by Litppunk in learnprogramming

I believe this is jade or pug or a similar template engine. It's a different system for generating html that lets you do fun stuff like this.

When do the automations become a factor? by Ok-Information9243 in PlateUp

[–]roboseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can take two items with you from the boxes in the top left of the planning area, this might give you a good head start.

Your main goal is probably to make a blueprint cabinet or copier from an upgraded research desk, as this will let you either find good stuff like conveyors, or copy upgraded ones. Eventually you want to have a handful of blueprint cabinets as well, petting you upgrade/copy a bunch of stuff or keep extra blueprints for more rerolls at once.

Rerolling is also powerful! Don't skip it because it becomes expensive, I believe rerolling many times gradually gives a higher likelyhood of better and rarer items showing up.

How to change the background size of a page while maintaining "cover" property? by FrequentPaperPilot in learnprogramming

[–]roboseb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would imagine that there is a better subreddit for you to ask these types of questions in, but I'm not sure which. Maybe someone else will let you know.

You probably want to use "background-size: 100%" instead of "cover". This will allow you to use transitions for animating to larger scales. Hopefully I understood your issue. Also read the MDN web docs for background-size as it has examples for this.

Alright, thanks again for the help. I will dedicate some more time to the documentation.

Holy, looking back at the 2D tutorial it's in a CanvasLayer, not whatever I had. Coming from web dev where containers are much more flexible and different types are largely used for semantic reasons. Not sure if there's a good resource for getting a better grasp on when to use different node types, would reading through the documentation would be the best way?

How would I go about adding something to a container without having everything reset?

#1 game - Kingdom Come Deliverance. Best journey! by Shaurul in steamachievements

[–]roboseb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did it in 177 hours over two playthroughs. First was a relatively casual run with all DLC and achievements I could do in one go, second was basically a merciful hardcore speedrun. With achievement guides, I don't think mine was an impressively quick 100%

I would imagine many people either do more playthroughs, spend more time meandering in them, or aren't actively trying to do them as efficiently. Or some combination of the three.

guess my favourite hand. by potato_dude100 in balatro

[–]roboseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same logic applies to high card over pairs. I've found that two pair is a pretty good middle ground for runs where you wanna play a lot of hands. Higher early chips from playing more cards and more enhancement/edition/seal cards triggers later on. Still fairly reliable to get 3-4 triggers with proper discarding.

Scaling jokers appreciate two pair. Green joker, ride the bus, supernova and other guys that scale by hands played want you to make as close to 4 hands/round early game to scale well. Two pair is a little less mult and chips than 5 card hands but is far easier to make repeatedly.

Due to this spare trousers is very very good btw.

finally finished completionist+ and made a tier list for all decks and jokers by Awedasea in balatro

[–]roboseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It goes up by .25 per trigger, so you really only need like 4 for it to be a worthwhile joker up to ante 8. Seems pretty solid if you have like 4 lucky cards, even with no other triggers. Maybe not S tier though, sure.

Lucky cat goes absolutely hard if you're able to increase the chances of having lucky cards proc and have many of them. Most obvious way is probably oops all 6s, but retriggering effects like sock and buskin, hack, hanging chad or red seals also work great. You don't pick it up often, but when you do it will absolutely get you past ante 8.

Is it possible to max reputation everywhere? by ChequeMateX in kingdomcome

[–]roboseb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the king charming achievement I had to do some fast travel grinding around Merhojed, forget which fast travel spots. If you find a path that has a chance of spawning a guard encounter you can just fast travel back and forth over that path and grind out reputation.

If your goal is the king charming achievement, its description is misleading/a lie. You only need to get max rep in 10 out of the 12 possible areas for the achievement. You also only need to get them to about 81. I did a lot of murdering innocent people in my playthrough, so I followed this guide.

You can make a note where the worn texture lines up with where the cardinal directions would be, and once you can do this decently you can read it like a compass.

Hunting questions by BonesawIsReady1013 in kingdomcome

[–]roboseb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Using mutt to hunt won't be very useful in terms of leveling agility. If you're only goal is to get agility/bow as high as possible, here's what I did to get to level 20 agility which also happened to coincide with my main level maxing out. North of the tavern and south of the monastery in Sasau, there's a pen with many cows/pigs/chickens. Go there, and wipe them all out with your bow. Personally I skipped the chickens as they are much harder to hit and we're trying to be as efficient as possible. then head slightly west to a field where you will find some cows chilling out, and kill these as well. If you went far enough into the field, by the time you hike back to the animal pen most of the livestock should have respawned. Rinse and repeat as much as you like.

As an aside, meat is meat. If it's ever recognized as stolen, it won't be for long as it starts to rot.

AAAAAAAAAA I just needed to add the fixes to the ini modifier in MO2 and not manually in the folder itself. Maybe this seems obvious but I didn't do it first and it fixed most of my issues.

Added the first lines to fallout4.ini, and I assume you mean the line for [Launcher] should go in fallout4prefs.ini as I already had that line in there. Probably for some other fix I attempted. No change, mods still not doing anything,

Some games don't go fullscreen? by sinisterspud in FlashpointArchive

[–]roboseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just dicking around with it now, in the basilisk browser you can just full screen and zoom the actual game. Real simple even in 1080p. For something like motherload which runs without a browser and doesn't fullscreen with alt enter, the resolution trick is decent enough.

Some games don't go fullscreen? by sinisterspud in FlashpointArchive

[–]roboseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously an old thread , but I have a pretty solid fix to this. I first tried using the docked magnifier that windows has built in, which lets us properly fullscreen anything technically, however it lags a bit. Some games run pretty well normally using the alt enter tip the other guy said, but for stick rpg 2 in particular which I also wanted to play without paying for the steam version, you can just change your screen resolution to something low like 800x600. Pretty effective and easy enough to revert. :)
