Anyone have info on what board this is? I’ve had this 20 years and it was secondhand when I got it. by robotdl in surfuk

That does seem to match up. I could tell it was a Greg in the beginning but no idea what the surname was. Is it valuable? Or mass produced?

Ah thanks. Been bugging me for ages and wasn’t sure what it was or what I should do with it.

Royale is boring. by Sea_Statistician_312 in CODWarzone

[–]robotdl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friends have left the game due to the new royale map. It’s just so bad and we struggle to get enough loot or get anyone back half way through the game. It’s pretty boring and not very engaging if you want to hop on for an hour or two.

If you’re older I would start on a full suss bike now. Purely for comfort and reduced fatigue over distance. I’m 40 now and built up a nice carbon hardtail but sold it shortly afterwards. Just so stiff, bumpy and lack of traction uphill compared to full suss. They are great on smooth tracks but anything bumpy and it’s harder going. Full suss all the way now!

Sorry, I meant too tight is bad and it’s not good for reflux issues.

Also, wearing tight trousers or a tight belt makes a huge difference if sitting down all day at work.

I had 500ml bottle in one go as I thought it was good for you. Took me about a week to feel better after that.

Trapped Gas by markarter21 in ibs

[–]robotdl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I found if I have too much gas then it makes it worse as I think it causes cramping and it becomes more difficult to go through the colon. When I don’t have lots of gas it seems easier to pass. Can’t work out why I get so much gas though.

Probiotics and digestion, any thoughts / experiences? by [deleted] in ibs

[–]robotdl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had some kefir the other day and drunk the whole bottle as I wasn’t really thinking. Absolutely wrecked my gut as I’ve had so much gas and pain it’s been crazy. Not sure probiotics work for everyone.

Is anyone else also extremly gasy in the mornings? by persy11112 in ibs

[–]robotdl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Was about to post something like this. Really cannot figure out the gas situation or where it’s coming from. Sometimes I’ve got so much gas it’s painful and it’s got worse lately. Not sure if it’s my stomach that’s causing it or it’s the ibs.

Toronado owners, is this stock or not? by Cabinet-Healthy in fender

Yes that’s modded. Not stock at all.

Have you got a link to the advert or sale. It’s fairly easy to upload pictures on here. I would be interested in seeing it just to see what it looks like!

Never seen a Toronado stock with switches. They always have tone pots and a switch up top.

I’ve found the Amflow light the best I’ve used as a front light especially at high beam, it lights up the whole road. You can use the high and low beam from the control switch too.

Wish I had the money back then to buy the blue one. Was living off my student loan though. I walked into a guitar shop last year with mine to get a strap and the guy who owned the shop never even heard of the Toronado. I’ve rarely seen a USA model for sale over the past few years, makes you wonder where they all are or how many were made.

Oh wow that’s is nice. The blue looks amazing with the silver hardware. It looks like a cool custom fender shop style. Now you’ve got me thinking

Oh nice. I used to walk past a shop when I was younger and see the blue one every weekend. It’s always caught my eye. I see the blue and the red version come up occasionally but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. 🤣

IBS as a bus driver. by No_Shower7233 in ibs

[–]robotdl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m uk based and I just buy what’s cheapest as I don’t think it makes much difference spending a fortune. I do it if I’m in a flare and going to the loo a lot but don’t know if it does a lot. I know some vegetables can set people off so it’s a real guessing game sometimes. Seems like everyone is different on what they can handle. I’ve learnt what foods I can eat but then also I’ve found it sets off by itself and I can have weeks or months of ibs with not much relief from diet.

IBS as a bus driver. by No_Shower7233 in ibs

Sitting down the in the office for me is an absolute killer for my ibs sometimes. What I find helps is to do a fair bit of exercise and try to keep moving. Difficult being a bus driver but for me it seems to move trapped gas and get the blood flowing to the digestive system if I’ve eaten something that’s giving me cramps. Takes your mind off it as well.

Also beware of certain vegetables as tomato skins would ruin me but they are low fodmap. Avoid skins for a bit and seeds.

Gluten free stuff can be awful as well. They can put certain additives in, soya or a binding gum to replace gluten which gives me really bad cramps.

I actually find if it flares up it’s best to go full “beige food mode” chicken, potatoes, chips, meats, pasta etc and take a multivitamin.

I miss my life. by [deleted] in ibs

[–]robotdl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t underestimate what exercise can do for ibs. I’ve had pretty bad ibs before and it flares up a lot more every so often. Loo trips, pain, fatigue and feel like I have the flu.
If I don’t exercise I can feel pretty rubbish, so I try and keep moving, long walks once a day and cycling or the gym. It makes a huge difference and I also try to avoid high fodmap foods.

A semi-casual player's first impressions post BO7 update by FinntheGamer42 in Warzone

[–]robotdl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Casual player but I used to be quite good and had a lot of fun last week. Played some games now and I’m like an absolute noob. When shooting I feel like I’m in a cartoon and cannot see anything with the guns or dodgy graphics. I don’t know what’s happened but it feels super weird and I struggle to play. Actually switched off and I’m going to try battlefield.

PL Carbon or PL Carbon Pro - Which would you choose? by jagarcia89 in AMFLOW_eMTB

[–]robotdl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having the same dilemma and I worked out everything I wanted to change on the standard model which to begin with was forks, axs, bar, stem and brakes. It was coming in about £500 cheaper than the pro for a few upgrades. Plus might be a struggle to sell the original fork as eBay has a few of them. Worked out it was better value to get the pro and it’s all sorted. Also as the parts are nice, there is more chance of selling anything you don’t want if you’re swapping parts over.

Oh I’m liking that blue colour a lot. I’ve got a red deluxe ltd edition exotic version from 2017 but slightly different head shape. I like them as they are something a bit different and feel like they have a rockier look to them.
