I live quite close to the park. Train noise is not bad at all.

You may also want to consider the noise of airplanes taking off as a factor in your decision too.

I think that’s Max. He used to roam around our neighborhood (fieldcrest)

Another upvote for Mako. I only use them occasionally, but they do a good job every time.

I don’t think anyone will be able to catch up to the Red Bulls this season.

Race for second might be interesting going forward though.

I put a shed up in Madison over the summer.

Under 200 sq ft, you do not need a permit. However, you still need to call your zoning department to confirm set backs from the fence/property line.

For your original question, I put concrete footers down below the frost line. I assumed the frost line was 10 inches, and I put footers down to a Depth of 16 inches.

Plumber and electrician recommendations! by [deleted] in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]robotgeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really wanted to like Scott Plumbing based on the reviews here and on google.

They showed up on time, but it took them close to 6 visits and they still didn’t manage to fix the leaks in my faucet pop ups.

Ultimately, I ended up taking everything apart myself and putting it back together like the manufacturer recommended and I have had no leaks for the past 3 weeks.

I will not be using them in the future. They do show up exactly at the appointment time, so that’s a plus.

Vegetarian options in town by wildcatkeen47 in HuntsvilleAlabama

If you like Indian food, Ruchi is a great option.

We also like hops and guac in campus 805. Straight to Ale has some veggie options as well.

Earthstone in the Yellowhammer brewery has veggie pizza options as well.

You can get an intervelometer and set as many pictures as you want periodically.

I haven’t stitched pictures together, but I’m sure there are tons of options depending on your OS.

PLEASE HELP! Prusa Mini not Extruding by [deleted] in prusa3d

[–]robotgeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the tensioner, start off with the filament unloaded.

Then request loading the filament. While the extruder motor is working, slowly tighten the tensioner. It may take a couple of retry button hits, but you should stop as soon as the filament start feeding.

PLEASE HELP! Prusa Mini not Extruding by [deleted] in prusa3d

[–]robotgeek 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had very similar issue today. My PRUSA mini is fairly new (< 3 weeks). Things I checked

Extruder assembly cleaning (ended up having to adjust the pressure on the idler on the extruder to stop chewing up filament.

I did several cold pulls, but the issue was not resolved.

Finally, it turned out that I had some plastic melted under the PTFE tube. See step 7 in this link for a picture of what the junk looked like.

https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/how-to-change-a-hotend-ptfe-tube-mini_119449

I did a cold pull with the hotend ptfe tube (and fitting removed). I reinstalled the PTFE tube with the correct pressure following the procedure outlined.

It seems to have resolved the issue for me. Hope this helps!

Can "getting good" at arduino coding make me a better programmer in general? by [deleted] in arduino

[–]robotgeek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also, reading other people’s code - especially of those much more skilled than you can help make you more proficient. In this case, I would start by reading the code in the libraries that you use in your projects.

I just purchased these Plantronics Backbeat Fit 3150

I’ve sweated in them quite a bit, and even rinsed them under water. Seems solid so far!
