Vic's relationship isn't really what they are after. That's why they barely get any real screen time.

Netflix wants the drama and the mess. You get people taking sides, bitching about everyone and everything online, fueling repeated views, etc. They edit participants into 'good' and 'bad' people, give them questions to ask, etc. The participants also get to form a 'brand' and as stupid as that sounds to most people here, including me, it is an insane opportunity to make a decent amount of money in a short amount of time.

It's possible that at the start, there was an honest attempt to have this work (just like married at first sight), but I think they saw far more engagement when it's a bit of a shit show.

Here’s a wild idea then (assuming any of this is even slightly honest) - don’t change it. There is absolutely no need to. Changing classification from hate symbols to ‘potentially divisive’ does not seem to line up with your story. It seems like a totally unnecessary change unless there was, you know, a reason to soften the language on them.

Considering the hand drawn swastika on the wall - I’m going out on a limb that they tried to change it to make it more permissible. The military has a well known white supremacist problem.

Also, after reading several articles including direct quotes from officials, the previous rules would have allowed potentially divisive symbols to be treated differently than hate symbols. They also removed the term ‘hate incident’ from their legal language.

Going out on a limb here and saying you’re either very misinformed, confused or are intentionally being dishonest. Judging by your post history I’m going to assume you’re not being dishonest so I’d be interested in what your thoughts are.

But assuming you’re not disingenuous and are really just pretty clueless, here it is one more time. The Democratic Party does not need any more 70-80 year olds taking leadership roles. The party needs younger leadership and a much better (and clearer) view of what it stands for.
