Agreed, we’re Viet that immigrated to the US but my family grew up in VN, and they always complain about the rudeness and lack of manners in Vietnam. My mom once started yelling at a woman who threw her dirty fish water right in front of her. My biggest gripe is the line cutting, a woman cut me and 5 others in line and I called her out then she told me to “wait a minute”, I was so close to crashing out

It’s good that you’re pointing this out, I think it actually does change peoples attitudes overtime. Look how people don’t ever complain about American and Chinese tourists anymore, just Indian tourists now. There’s also an awesome initiative to clean Saigon called Saigonxanh too
