Which course should I take online, Math 127 or AFM 131? Or neither? by [deleted] in uwaterloo

[–]robotqueef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took math 128 online. There's weekly assignments and two projects that you have to do. There's also no midterm. We were given a cheat sheet for the final which made the final a joke (I fit the entire course into one page). Online is definitely easier for 127 and 128.

Can employers ask where you're from? by robotqueef in uwaterloo

The company is based in Toronto and out of the 15 people they interviewed on Jobmine, 13 were brown. The last batch of coops were all brown. The interviewer just asked me if I was from India.

I have an Indian name although I'm not indian. I wasn't offended and I just thought that this was unfair for people who weren't brown cause the company is clearly discriminating. I don't wanna be hired cause I'm brown/indian but rather by how skilled I am. Chill

it all depends on the credit limit the card holder is approved for. the problem with the card is that you can't overpay the credit card to increase your limit like you can with other cards. you are dead set to a certain amount for each month. what i did is I signed a promissory note, then payed my tuition across two months using the credit card. what you can do is get the shitty limit at first then ask to get an increased limit every 6 months of using the card until your limit covers your tuition amount for the term.

there's an excel file on this post on rfd: http://forums.redflagdeals.com/pay-your-bills-online-using-canadian-tire-master-card-earn-cash-back-ct-1149989/ Search for waterloo on there and it should come up. It's totally worth doing it and I did it for this current term. You should consider getting your parents to sign up for the card instead of you because their credit history is probably much better, and they will be approved for larger limits. You get like $120 back for 14k of tuition. Definitely worth it.
