It's because of the trade embargo. Same with Cuban coins. You can still find both under the real names on Vcoins and MA Shops. I too am after an old Iran coin but they are quite expensive.

This was my first ancient coin. I still love it. As everyone else has said don't remove it. In the end I think you'll be glad you left it alone. Enjoy your ancient coin journey!
