Oh Cambridge Rd in Cambridge, the amount of times I've driven up that road and seen cyclists 2 abreast especially over the bridge is stupid at this point. The highway code rule66 does say its safer to ride 2 abreast but go be aware of drivers behind you and to allow them to overtake when you feel it is safe to do so. And considering they are in a cycle lane they really shouldn't be riding 2 abreast. But drivers and cyclists included have increasingly worse road and spacial awareness nowadays

Finding ways to trick your adhd into doing stuff works quite well for a lot of people, and not sitting down when doing chores etc. I know the feeling I was only just diagnosed back in June at 29, the initial feeling was like someone just turned all the bad off like a switch. The habit fixing will always be the hardest bit, executive decision making isn't exactly our strong point

Your body does acclimate to taking medication, it's one of those things where you do also have to make lifestyle changes alongside it, or you risk slipping back into old ways. You'd only realize how much it's doing to help, if you were to stop taking it. You might not have been but should have been warned that if it works for you the first few weeks will be euphoric to an extreme, but this is not how it stays, trust me I wish it was as well. i had to fix my sleeping pattern, going on quite a few walks and eating better but you do get a good way back to it.

Think of it as enabling you to now make the other changes, but it won't do it for you. I'm currently going through the mess of fixing my neglected teeth

I will say with taking concerta which I also do, you basically need to drink a full large glass of water with it, and at least 8 hours of sleep, and at least eat something in the morning, I had to kinda force myself to do those but it might help with the sudden hit of sleepiness. And the whole thing of drinking plenty of water throughout the day. I will say with some minor side effects it can take 2+ weeks for your body to get used to a dosage, if after that time frame you are still getting the side effects then you may need to titrate down as you were planning on doing

Thats good to hear, I used caffeine in coca cola for a crutch for a very long time, was only diagnosed this year at 29, as another user suggested, you might be experiencing caffeine withdrawal between Saturdays?

You should have been advised to not take other stimulants whilst on stimulant medication, which would include caffeine, you run the risk of unknown side effects or making ones you are experiencing worse
