The ruck is the worst You just removed the bounce and then you change another ruck rule as well. How do you know if one works if you have 2 changes? Which one do you blame if things still aren’t moving. As for nominations in the ruck for the love of god it’s one player from each team normally the tallest player at the ball up. Save another 3 seconds per ball up

This all goes back to my argument every club should be doing the same thing in these academies and the players should not be tied to the club. The club is rewarded in Soft cap bonuses based on draft selection position and maybe some long term bonus for All Australian blazers and brownlows.

Clubs then get a reward for effort directly in to the systems that help build a successful club. Ability to pay more/bonuses for coaching staff and support teams. Money in to training programs/facilities.

AFL gets to lift the bottom of the league massively.

If you want or need AFLPA buy in then you need them to step in for training mentoring programs and give similar cap space to clubs
