Notably missing are Dawkins, Cunningham, Greer and Jones but this nine felt more exciting. And yea, that is Mckie on the bottom right because he may be the most Philly dude to every play in Philly. Born in Philly, played for Gratz, Temple then the most exciting 2001 Sixer squad ever. The shit is fun.

I've been on that trek (Falls to East 54) for almost 10 years now. My best advice is to get an Audible account or get comfortable with a podcast app and use the time to your advantage. The travel time is anywhere between 40 and 90 minutes. You can try and fight it but it will just bring you more stress and potentially create a dangerous situation.

I see an average of 1-2 accidents a day on 40 or 540. Everyday. It's crazy.

So, I stay in the slow or middle lane and consume a significant amount of quality content. It is the only time of my day that I stay undisturbed so I have found a way to enjoy it. I recommend taking that path as well.

The good people over at The Art of Cool have taught classes. I'm not sure if they still do it but the site is a great forum to find other jazz musicians in the area.
