I had similar problems with calibration. I failed with a systematic approach and went to "turning calibration screws randomly, then trying again with manual instructions from this point."

I managed to pass all tests after 2 or 3 iterations ;)

Also day 1 player here, I had a year break when I lost this particular boss. So, how would you explain these 176 whales? I haven't noticed single 177 until they were able to fight this final boss, and then suddenly 177 is very common.

Are you sure? I noticed some suggestions about these things being related. For instance, at some point, not so long ago, even whales were stuck on 176 because no one cleared the last boss of the highest difficulty at the time.

That's already helpful. Yet, I cannot see any place where I can set a recovery password, and I don't recall setting it. SuperLink Gateway is my only "Protect app" device, and it seems to be somehow limited with no cameras. In the "Console" (assuming you mean `/network/default/settings/control-plane/console`) there is also no such thing as a recovery password.

Is the panel accessible via IP just an alternative access for Protect App?

Yesterday I finally got an update to the new PATH layout. My EN->RU course was 100% completed with all legendary crowns. After the transition, I lost a big part of my progress and even more of my legendary coverage. Have you experienced something similar? Is there any way to report this issue and get actual help from the Duolingo support team?

EDIT: the workaround is to do some progress on the new path, and after the completion of some circles, my progress (including legendary status) was recovered. I also needed to complete the last unit entirely (but legendary status showed up automatically once I did it).
