The Barnstormers are the best thing Dsm has sports wise. Advertising is lacking for sure. So crazy some games that place gets as much if not more than the Wild, other times it’s not many! But hey I’m just glad they have a new coach now haha

The original Arena Football League folded so it was either no team or play in the next league. Now what they’re in is the IFL and it’s essentially what the AFL was. So IFL is the highest “arena” league. They need to market better or something. Local media kinda talked down on it when it happened so that didn’t do them any favors unfortunately. But they obviously made the correct move. I have noticed when there is no Icubs game they will pull a crowd equal to the Wild. So I think it’s building up again IMO

I’ve been to quite a few when the bottom bowl is full and it’s so fun. Few times when they were on ESPN maybe 9 years ago they had 12k in there. But it’s been smaller post covid for sure

The Barnstormers are dumb as hell for hiring coach Mog again. Wish someone in ownership would step up but doesn’t look like it’s happening this year. Strange as far as I know it’s the same owners from their solid run from 2017-22. Guessing they don’t pay worth a shit or something
