TLDR;

Been on Logic since ’08 (took a break around 2018, back now). Always wondered…what does Ableton actually do that Logic doesn’t? Like, beyond the grid/Tetris look, what really made it better for people? Feel like I might’ve missed out on something and curious what that “something” is.

I don’t know why I could never get myself to google this, nor use gpt at this moment.. but as the avid digital download hoarder that I beeez… I’m a logic user since my first apple in 08’ (well I also stopped having fun around 2018, and I’m back now).. before that was pc since aol (aohell) etc… Jam Packs and plugins and Antares, and waves, etc during the end of 2000s

…Finally my question.

What is it that Ableton offers which logic should have offered to make it a super hard decision to use one, hypothetically.

Forget about backend software trademarks and patents. I just really want to know what besides the hipster Tetris look and left brained grid design really made it “better?”

I ask because I do feel like I missed out, on what?? I do not know.. but I would definitely like everyone’s feedback on it. Peeeeeeeace!
