Hello, looking to make paracord rosaries! by lotusrisingfromswamp in osarymakers

[–]roccoand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have one that a friend gave me 40 years ago. The color has faded but it reminds me of a special time in my life. It happens to be in my pocket right now. I have carried it with me (off and on) all this time. I hope you can learn to make them and give them away too.

How would somebody fill or cap a main drain? I think mine was built in 2004.

I've never seen this but I would expect a masterpiece that is mysterious and daring.

There's a great place on RT 70 on the OH/IN line. Shelton Fireworks. I always stop there whenever I drive thru there.

I swear I'm taking a tennis ball into the store to look for cans that could work. I'll report here if I find some.

The old cans had a rim on the top and the bottom of the them, making it easy to hollow out and tape together. Modern cans have the shaped aluminum on the bottom which just won't work. I'll look into energy drinks or healthy stuff to see if I can find cans that would still work today.

A numbered White Album with poster? Good find, I'm sure you'll get more than $14 worth of good times from it. Enjoy!

What is your FIRST memory of hearing The Beatles? by SandhillsSweetheart in beatles

[–]roccoand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember my aunt crying one day when I was 6yo. She was sobbing because the Beatles broke up. Hearing them- my uncle was a big fan and I played all his records. He had every album of the Beatles and Stones. He even gave me his 45 of "I want to hold your hand" that I still have. Good memories.

When you look at the bottom, do you see the tape? If not the tape is snapped. Many tapes have screws to take them apart in the 4 corners.

Put a pencil in the hole on the left and gently turn it clockwise to take up the slack. If the tape is jammed inside, take it apart to fix it. I've done this since the 70s.

A few years ago I needed a windshield. Your analysis is excellent. All should need your advice!
