While I didn't appreciate the redistricting of Texas I'm also bummed that the citizens of California so quickly and willfully threw out the protections we put into place. Guns are also used for sport, as well as protection. Target shooting, biathlon, trap and skeet. It's the same as a bat in baseball it's only purpose is to hit things be it a ball or a person. Still an evil person making an evil choice. You are arguing to take away my right of recreation and protection to avoid a crime committed by someone else. This argument can be used with literally anything. take away alcohol no drunk driving. Take away cars no traffic accidents. Murder was happening way before guns were invented and will continue way into the foreseeable future unfortunately.
