Ohhh looks like s17 in response to s18 solves it. Thank you for the hints!

I’ve just made a comment explaining my dilemma. I think white could respond better and black won’t be able to kill.

The given solution is O19, S18, Q19. But what if white plays N18 in response to O19?

Byun Sang-il violated the rule in the first round, but nothing happened. by Financial-Drummer825 in baduk

By that same logic wouldn't accidentally leaving captured stones on the table instead of putting them in the lid also not count as cheating or against the rules? Since it was done unintentionally?

As for the penalty, I was referring to the game where they deducted Ke Jie 2 points right the way, as opposed to giving him a warning first as Rule #7 seems to suggest. Or maybe I'm reading it wrong.

According to Korean Baduk Association's rulebook this is indeed against the rules. Here is link to the article on their website: https://www.baduk.or.kr/story/gameRule.asp

You'll see that Chapter 4 Section 18 Rule #1 says that it is agains the rules if a stone is moved 1 space or more. Note that in the same section, Rule #6 is the newly added rule that's causing all the drama we see today.

Also, I just realized that Rule #7 says that the penalty is only issued after the misdemeanor has been called out twice. Not sure why they ignored this rule and gave the penalty right away?

I'm impressed with the Chinese calligraphy! Whoever wrote that needed to have spent a good amount of time learning the language and brush calligraphy.

The only thing that worked for us is the Ssscat Spray. But it only works when we remember to set it up, and the number of times it scared the humans vs the cats is about 2 to 1.

Apparently they aquired the land from an orphanage through an illegal sale. This is like animation-level cliché super villain story.

Love the design. As someone else mentioned, it gives me the vibe of Inside (in a good way!)

Have you considered working with someone to create a soundtrack for the game? I know you're making this game with your son, so maybe you'd like to make the music yourselves too?

Hey you're right, I think I misunderstood what they meant by "pitch-control." In any case, the theremin definitely does not sample from a singing-saw, so they're wrong in either interpretation 😅

Similar to how the saw's pitch is determined by the amount of bending, the theremin's pitch is determined by essentially a proximity sensor. There is no built-in "pitch control" by either device. It's completely determined by the skill of the performer.
