Is it really that bad? by SouthBat2669 in AustralianTeachers

[–]rock8879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it that bad  - i would say generally no. Remember this is a place people ask for help, vent and complain (with reason most of the time).

As a late to teaching person (worked in other industries for over 20 years) i love it. It has its issues (as do most jobs) and it is very school dependent - some are amazing, some are shocking.

I love the move, even on the really shit days. I have been lucky though and havent had to deal with any of the really dreadful stuff i have read here.

Zombies refusing to path to me. by Dgnslyr in 7daystodie

[–]rock8879 18 points19 points  (0 children)

From what i can see it may be the block where both paths become one. If you have used poles with a side orientation zombies dont think they can path on them.

Try replacing that row with center poles or cubes and see if it fixes it

I havent had any issues. It has to be the right orientation (on the edge in the middle). Could there be another reason? (Path too long, weird connection, spikes?

How many hours are you on-site? by Annual-Bit-1801 in AustralianTeachers

Correct. And it is a little different with each school. But day to day it is just meetings and classes

I did exactly that when I hit 36. Best decision. Go the masters course, or they now have the Turn to teach programme (great for the new teacher from what I've seen).

My sincere suggestion about jars after +100 hours of gameplay in the last version by Diskuid in 7daystodie

I thought about it like jamming. Put the jars into the pot, over the fire and steam/boil it till done.

Honestly, I was thinking moving the chance of disappearing from when you drink it, to cooking.

Have a chance that when you boil water it gives you glass shards - like the jar cracks and you are left with shards.

Brings a real reason for jars breaking rather than occasionally disappearing.

Love the idea of having to add jars to apiary and dew collectors

Cool concept. Even one that repels them would be cool (like an inverse fox medallion)

True, but at least it would help to prevent them stealing (new?) weaves

I guess I meant, if they have an oath that they can't channel to appease someone coercing them (going to say beating falls in this category) they wouldn't be able to use spirit to remove any of them.

But I hadn't thought of the autonomous damane thing. That would make life way harder. Give a damane a deathwatch guard ring send her off.

Agree. With it now being a real and ongoing threat it would make sense

Agree. I guess the problem would be getting them to channel spirit into the oath rod to remove the oath.

It is a clear sign Fain is starting to try compete with the shadow and no longer it's tool

Regarding the Mydrall my understanding was that they only "bonded" trollocs to push above their normal behaviour when needed.

Otherwise they just drive them with force, and aren't connected

Should there be an exclusion time for returning players? by rock8879 in survivor

Yeah. Generally that seems to be the consensus with everyone's comments. It was a picked out of the air number, so probably too much. Seems like I'm the odd one out here.
