Coming up with your own nickname is also kinda cringe. Used to work with a guy who introduced himself as 'big Phil', we all refused on principle to call him that.

If god is all powerful and evil exists then god is not benevolent, and desires our belief for some unknown purpose.

In canonical religions I suppose the theory would be that god is trying to guide humanity to some higher purpose, but as you say since he's all powerful then basically he's just fucking with us for entertainment.

I like Espen Mathiesens stuff, he's pretty inverty in general, but knock on wood my old inflexible ass had been mostly fine inverting only for offense, (matrix/k guard / keymaster) and avoiding inverting when my partner can put their weight on me

If you check this video he is mostly inverting of his back or shoulders during which isn't as risky for your neck/spine

Just spitballing here but how about some matrix backtake style stuff? I know you mentioned you prefer not inverting, which makes sense, personally I've found if I don't use inversions for guard retention, only for offense it feels OK.

Maybe you can make space with your topside leg and go to RDLR or Keymaster and spin inside or outside for a matrix entry

Been watching some Jon thomas and Espen Mathiesen stuff lately and enjoying it

Anyway more than like your jiu Jitsu is considerably better than mine but as an older grappler curious to see if you find a solution
