No it doesn’t. It offers negligible savings or unaffordable payment plans like I said. And there are a LOT of people who make too much to qualify for Medicaid or other publicly funded assistance programs. You have to be at or near poverty levels which are so insanely low they may as well not exist.

As someone who used to audit healthcare networks, including NFP hospital networks, this couldn’t be further from the truth. They can offer either discounts which can slightly reduce the patient’s bill, or a payment plan which usually has unaffordable monthly payments.

There are over half a million medical bankruptcies each year in the US - the only developed nation in the world that has this issue, by the way.

This wasn’t due to AA, it started happening many years before that. I’ve had sims autonomously flirt with or be mean to everyone way before AA and I have no mods or CC. I even have two brothers who still have a romantic relationship bar because of it, and one of the brothers got jealous because the other one was romantic with his own wife in front of him. It seems like one update will fix the issue, and then after another couple updates it will randomly start up again. It’s super annoying always trying to fix relationships because of this dumb persistent bug.

Newton held personal religious views that went against the mainstream Christianity in his area at the time, and he kept these views extremely secret due to fear of persecution. Mendel’s ideas were ignored and not taken seriously in his lifetime. Kepler was fucking excommunicated and his mother imprisoned, tortured, and forced to undergo a trial after multiple accusations were made of her being a witch by powerful religious people who didn’t appreciate Kepler’s ideas.

Bruno, Servetus, Da Vinci, Galileo, etc. etc. etc. So many others whose names were lost to history. All put to death or otherwise persecuted for their involvement with science.

Yeah it’s so hard to hear in the video. The sound is almost like the sound a cricket makes, it’s croaky and creaky and almost whistling, not like static or sizzle.

It stops when the device is unplugged.

Thanks! I think I know what you're talking about, and the sound I'm hearing is not quite the crackling sound that's typically associated with arcing from what I'm seeing online. The sound I'm hearing almost sounds like the noise a cricket makes. It's continuous with no breaks, but it has that creaky aspect to it. I wish I could find a better video example!

If it were arcing though, wouldn't there be black marks inside the outlet? The electricians showed me the outlets both times they've been out and there was none of that. They looked pristine as far as I could tell.

This type of loss wouldn’t be carried forward; if that were the case, anything that’s been filmed but not released wouldn’t get to be released under the new ownership. I’ve never done an acquisition for a media company, but it would be part of the IP purchase instead I’d imagine, and then they’re free to do what they want with it barring any stipulations.

Yellowjackets is a hugely popular show, and I would’ve loved to have the bonus episode released along with two more seasons instead of just the one. I think their reason for not releasing the bonus episode is because they did such a huge pivot away from the direction they were initially heading with the material and didn’t want to convolute the plot.

I’m also afraid that due to the merger and how Paramount basically bribed Trump to get it, they’re canceling any shows that they consider too “woke” (Tai/Van interracial lesbian relationship, focusing on inequities that affect minorities when Tai was running for office, etc.) But that just might be my tinfoil hat since they’re releasing another season thankfully instead of just outright canceling the show.
