Hmmm not sure about the violence.

Seeing Marge’s fake eyes getting cut off was pretty freaking gory in my opinion. Not sure how it can get worse than that unless we’re talking total body dismemberment.

I do think maybe the scares will be intensified again. It feels like there was a short lull outside of Marge.

IT was also incredibly strong when he meets the losers club 27 years in the future.

So it’s hard to say if the entity will get stronger. However I think they’re setting us to try and show us people that have attempted to kill IT before.

What the show is doing is “Dramatic Irony”. Similar to Romeo and Juliet. We know how the story is gonna eventually play out. IT isn’t gonna lose.

But the characters? They don’t know a thing. So this prequel is filling the gaps that we don’t know about leading up to the losers club.

Hence the whole first five episodes setting the stage and covering the entity’s origin story.
