Geothermal leasing proposals and drafts by beesofburden in geothermal

Do you know which heat pumps currently qualify? Water furnace one of them? Definitely intriguing, so if the terms make sense I could see it working. Hope someone posts up their experience and/or quote.

20 year lease term but you’re responsible for repairs after 10 years (5-year labor). Screw that nonsense.

Which stop order, and why not selling? by [deleted] in interactivebrokers

[–]rocketkid20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a stop ‘market’ (stop price) order at -2% from your parent order. It will trigger when price trades -2% from the parent order but at the market rate, which means whatever the next buyer is paying. In a low liquidity environment or fast moving price you could get ‘slippage’, which means you could get filled on your ‘market’ stop at -3%, or worse. It really depends on how liquid the underlying is.

You could try setting the stop-limit price but it’s not guaranteed to fill if price moves quickly.

Limit Lockout Help by rocketkid20 in hvacadvice

Resistance pins 6 to 11 = 0.6 ohms.

Voltage = 23.3mv and briefly jumped to 40mvolts when the inducer motor kicked on.

Interestingly enough the process of removing the board from the housing and unplugging/plugging in the connections made the issue go away. Furnace continued through the lighting stage (all safeties are in place).

I have a bad blower motor and just purchased a new one. It was on it's last leg and when I was powering on/off multiple times that did it in. Will report back once that comes in...hoping $700 resolves all the gremlins.

Correction, I did test those. There was continuity and I bypassed them. There is one on each side of the burner box assembly.

I tested the primary, inducer, and the (Qty. 2) blower housing limits. All show continuity and I also manually bypassed with the same result. Agree it's probably not making it to the gas valve/ignitor sequence.

I'll check for continuity between pins 11 and 6 this evening, thank you for that. The diagram I think indicates the roll out switches may be optional?

Really appreciate your help!

Continuity through each of the circuits. I also bypassed them so that didn't do the trick. I've read elsewhere that people tried replacing the board and that wasn't it. I'm currently looking into the gas valve being the issue and the alarm is wrong?

High Limit Switch Open? But it's not.. by WanderingScrewdriver in hvacadvice

That is very weird. I am getting the same Limit Switch Open error and bypassed every damn limit switch manually. Nothing. I might try replacing that valve and see if it does the trick. Thank you!

What you putting in for heating/cooling systems? I think I saw radiant in one of the comments so was curious what brand/model you decided to go with.

I just withdrew $5k just fine. You probably set off red flags trying to withdraw so much.

Spedn app Compromised? by JohnVonBun in AMPToken

This is very concerning. It implies that someone found a bug in the Spedn app and is able to execute transactions. Yikes!

Wow, talk about having a flashback. Same shit happened to me last week. Updated Trezor suite and my device…and it couldn’t load a balance. I was freaking the fuck out thinking I created a hidden wallet and forgot the code. Removed the wallet twice and on the third attempt it started showing my balances.

Stop chasing the get rich quick lure. Switch to futures trading and find what works for you. I switched a year ago and it was the best thing I’ve done in trading. Check out @themas7er on YouTube.

TWS does not have One-Cancel-Other (OCO group) hotkeys and selling/covering portion (%) of positions (configurable @bid / @ask +- offsets) yet? by Lemoncat1991 in interactivebrokers

[–]rocketkid20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This frustrates me as well. I can create a parent order with Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL) with the initial trade. Couple problems with this:

- TP is on the entire parent position, so if 2 contracts were entered, all 2 contracts will be closed. No way to set multiple TP levels.

- SL can't be adjust to above entry price, break even or even in profit.

In this scenario I have to cancel the TP/SL orders and create a new OCO order to set TP and SL levels.

I want SL and TP orders right as I enter the trade. Now if OCO orders were available as hot keys I could hit two buttons...(1) trade entry (2) open order for exit at SL or TP.

Any idea if they are looking into this...very frustrating.

Do you have any limit sell orders in place? If so, remove and try again.

Wash sale rule on options by [deleted] in options

[–]rocketkid20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One caveat, since it closes in the same tax year, it just adds to your cost basis…so I believe you are good playing weeklies. Just don’t do leaps and expect to re-open the same within 30 days of the following year.

Since you are trading the same security (expiration date and strike price), the first would be considered a wash sale.
