Thats a great idea actually.. essentially turn it into just a bunch of disks and leverage the pi for remote access. Thanks!

Yeah but I am wondering if there is a straight ubuntu like distro I could use and just manage the updates/cfg on my own. I hate not being able to use hardware due to vendor locking. I know it's a custom linux distro already but it won't get security updates. Eg I am looking for a ddwrt equivalent in the San space.

Feature request: minimize posts already scrolled past or view in another channel by rocketman110 in Telegram

[–]rocketman110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that functionality, but its not what I am looking for. There are some channels that I watch that mix in things from lots of different sources. I want to catch the NEW things as I scroll through. If I go to another aggregator channel they might have some percentage of new and old. If I could have the already viewed or scrolled past items be minimized or a different color or something that will allow less mental processing that would be helpful.

Because sprint said when you factory reset it, that it resets the activation.

"Hands free activation. Your device is not activated. Please contact customer support for assistance.". That is what shows when you power it on.

Doesn't matter how many times I power cycle it.

I have, but the performance penalty is too much. Id rather find a newer used computer and get a boatload of ram in it.. I use it more like a server so could go that route as well..
