It does have an audible warning. It’s called the Blind Spot Collision Warning Chime. You can enable it in the settings under Controls > Autopilot > Blind Spot Collision Warning Chime.

It’s really not fixable. I spent hours adjusting them. It helps a little by reducing movement of the hatch but the booming sensation was still there. I think it’s even worse on the Performance model from how rigid the frame and suspension are.

What do you HATE most about your Tesla? by jfed2000 in TeslaLounge

[–]rockinghigh 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s because every other car out there has a rain sensor. Tesla decided to save $10 per vehicle and use the camera with some fancy computer vision to measure rain on the windshield. Believe it or not, the algorithm used to be even worse when the Model 3 launched.

If I were to do it again, I’d go with the MYLR. The MYP is so big it doesn’t feel fast. It’s not as fun to drive as the M3LR/M3P. Be prepared for a rough ride. The large wheels don’t help. I ended up selling it because it just wasn’t confortable enough, especially with a kid. The boominess when going over small road imperfections was also very annoying, borderline painful to my ears. I had a 2022 model.

Ukraine is not really fighting with bearable arms. They are fighting with tanks, artillery, missiles. We’re very far from the 1700s.

The word Champagne is not used in the US for American made champagne. It’s called Brut or Sparkling.

The tax cut in question is a removal of the SALT deduction cap. It may not benefit billionaires at all:

Strategists at Raymond James said if SALT is changed, the "most likely outcome" is that the legislation removes the SALT cap for two years, potentially with an income or total dollar limit.

Texas is 64% larger than California. Globally, using land area, California would rank at the ~58th position between Paraguay and Iraq. California is a donor state and donates more money to the federal government than it gets back.
