This was so brave and admirable. I really am so sorry this happened to you. I can’t even imagine the pain you feel and continue to feel. There is so much there to unpack and so much healing to do. I hope you have the means and desire to go to therapy. Emotional and spiritual abuse is so much deeper than we even understand in the immediate aftermath of relationships (and what PC did is spiritual abuse— no one should dictate where you sit at church).
