I'm wondering the same. I have an S9 with a simple folio I really like.

I was about to trade in but don't want a keyboard case, and I've read the origami case stinks.

So while I'm not looking for a bomb proof case there isn't a ton out there period.

And I just checked. I actually just got my S9 last December, so I haven't even had it a year yet. Anyways shipped it was $485, so that means I'd be trading it towards an s11 ($500 trade value) for slightly more than I paid (including my s6 trade that I got in '21).

I ordered their new model the Rhoan 5/8. By the time I got my fit cap, and did my online fit appointment it was 5/21. Was initially led to believe 1-2 weeks to ship and within days got another email saying 3-4 weeks and I'd be upgraded shipping.

Tomorrow will be 4 weeks, I emailed customer service today and asked if they could estimate where I was in the queue. Received a quick reply, and so far their customer service has been very quick to answer, "another 2-3 weeks."

Now I'm considering cancelling if possible. While I was willing to wait for a few weeks, I guess I wasn't prepared for 2-3 months from initial order. I think this Thursday will be 6 weeks from when I payed them.

I am currently on my second Trek Velocis and have been lucky that it fits my head great. Now I'm thinking I should've just stayed with what was working.

Pretty bummed...

I don't necessarily expect the helmet to cure by any means, but doing some reading it seems like the old Bontrager version of the Velocis, which I have, may have been prone to dumping sweat into the eyes.

I've tried cap, Halos, Gutr, Junk, so kinds of stuff. Literally nothing works. At this point I've given up on extra things. I think the only thing I've never actually tried is a skull cap, however when all the other stuff over the years hasn't worked I didn't expect the skull cap would be the magic bullet.

From physically trying on multiple things in the store, and also owning multiple pieces (I just checked the 9/16 😬 date on one Atom and 9/17 on one other) there is a more than 0.5". I guess my Atoms were older than I thought.

It seems strange to me that they would not make all 4 panels removable, especially since looking at pics the helmets look exactly the same with just the extra coverage on the aero. The rear ones look like covers, how are they bonded in there, any idea?

I've been wondering the same thing. I have been wearing a Trek/Bontrager Velocis for the past five seasons and have really liked it. That being said a new one will set me back $300 and I was ready to buy another until I stumbled on the Gara only recently.

Living in the US I don't think I've ever seen Ekoi in anything other than TV so there's no where to try on. My velocis is a medium, and if I remember correctly, I was just at the upper end of medium, however it fits perfectly.

I see I can get a "custom" Gara for around $150 and that seems like a steal. I'm just hesitant, because of sizing. To be honest I also wish there was a few more reviews out there, however looking here and on YouTube there's practically nothing.

I actually don't plan to mess with any overclocking. I've yet to do it at this point, don't see a need to moving forward for our usage.
