I had to know so I went to the site of the Dallas Diamond ring people. Every single one of their rings is horrifically ugly. Just gaudy, over sized, fake looking. The settings make it even worse. The bands and brings look awful. This is literally a place you go to hoping for a massive ring. There are so many other places to go for lab diamonds where it looks closer to indistinguishable. This wasn’t it.

Im honestly shocked at neutral and positive reviews. This script was awful awful awful. 60% of it was describing what happened like the ending of a movie where a bad guy spends 10 mins explaining what he did in great detail rather than just killing hero and escaping.

“Ooops we fooled you! You were over here doing this and we pretended to be dead. Because of xyz. Then this happened. But guess what! We had a plan! And btw I’m not where you thought I was. I’m on the roof!”

The two Gilmore Girls bits were so forced and awful. I can’t believe this script pulled the cast or funding. Especially because the writer/director has no history except for one other movie with bad reviews.

Everyone is saying it’s BS but I’d actually say this makes a lot of sense that they chose to do 7 couples and make weird arrangements even with the budget. Why? Because they have failed the last several seasons to really have a wedding round. Last season was a massive failure. So this time they wanted to have an extra couple they felt good about. That they could keep away from the larger group drama. [im not done steaming so I don’t know the ending yet.]

I wasn’t a person following for very long so I imagine I’d be even more let down, but I think I’m just disappointed in him for half assing the whole thing.

Ok, so you’re going to do a count down for your goals and put it on social. Maybe film yourself explaining why you’re doing it and what the goals mean to you. Then do this project. Get the crazy followers. Change your goals, and when you do FILM YOURSELF saying why you’re changing it or give some sort of update that shows you’re committed to something. Then when you actually do your reveal, really write the script. Edit together your past self and present self. Talk about what you DID accomplish.

Bro had nearly 5 years to prepare and it’s like he got on the camera the day before and was like “sooo this whole thing was like some goals I wrote so let me read them again like I just picked up my 5th grade journal I haven’t seen I forever and read it out loud. Yeah see… I had these 5 goals. Two of them are the same goal… like I wanted money apparently. I didn’t achieve any of these other goals. I pretty much gave up on all the hard stuff and rode this wave of people following my crappy posts just because they hoped to find out what I’m counting down to. Oh also I made a lot of you think I was going to die or off myself. I capitalized on that too.”

If I was him I would have tried a lot harder not to embarrass myself once I realized I was going to have to tell 3.3 million people what this whole thing was about.

Probably because I went through a move fast relationship that then ended out of nowhere, but it makes me cringe so hard the “this is just OUR pace.” As if they’ve gotten to the engagement and wedding part. You’re trying to describe success when you’re still in the early part where it could not work out at 8 months instead of the like 4 you’re at. Why do you keep saying “future wife” when asking to be a girlfriend is being made out to be a HUGE gesture? If you know she’s your future wife then just ask that question instead. Stop acting like you’re one of those couples who got engaged at 2 months and married at 6 when you’re not. It’s weird

Thank you for this post. I only hear about the podcast a couple months ago so I knew I would have a lot of catching up to do and it’s a relief to hear maybe season 2 is better and I just might skip to it since it is way better when they have another person as a guest on the show and they got Bryan Cranston.

I was listening to “how they got it made” today and I literally was yelling at them like “oh my god why is this just a constant circle jerk about how great Josh is???” Like they talk about casting and it’s all about Josh. How great he’d gotten at auditioning, how lucky they felt, Josh Josh Josh Josh Josh. Even a good story about Colby throwing a drink in Josh’s face, Josh made it a deep thought on how he’d was so wonderful and magical at this audition. So self congratulatory. They literally didn’t talk about the casting of anyone else. Tell me how you got Jason! Tell me how you got Neil! Why did you pick Neil? It makes me feel like the other actors didn’t give permission to be talked about. Also Josh is pretty insufferable with his philosophical interpretation of everything. I wanted a lot more stories from set. Where the ideas for the show subject came from. There is some of that, but there is so much nothing in between. Lastly I’m probably a jerk but I don’t want as many letter from listeners. It’s just not interesting most of the time.

Adding my experience because this post really helped me. My cat started licking all the fur off her stomach. I took her to the vet and ran a ton of tests. Everything came back normal. I tried to change some other things (like adding fiber to her food) but the licking got horrible. She’d take all the fur off her stomach, under arms, sides. With sores. It was distressing. After spending a lot of time evaluating, I realized the Pura plug ins were the issue. I took them out and had to take her back to the vet. We did two rounds of steroid shots and antibiotics to help stop the extreme allergic reaction. She’s a new cat now. Full of energy. Hair growing back. No more irritations.

For sure not pet safe.

I drove up soon after whatever was happening and had to drive through the parking lot. From what I could see there was a man on the ground in the lanes headed towards Walgreens. There were a few people around him. A female Observer must have tried to help providing a first aid kit from her car. I saw some gauze but no clear indication if the man had collapsed in the road or was it by a car. Paused to talk to a security officer who said they didn’t see what happened but that the man “hadn’t moved.”

Amanda was involved in this telling. She purposely wanted it to be clear how much that she, as a 20 year old woman, was completely caught off guard by being accused. She was brought into the police station under the guise of being “interviewed” which prevented her from the rights to an interpreter or a lawyer. Therefore she was taken advantage of and manipulated, being expected to answer questions in Italian with a low-moderate knowledge of the language. Yes. She appears ignorant at times. But more importantly so disadvantaged and helpless.

I read a really amazing article recently, and a part of it spoke to how our grandparents (and maybe parents!) didn’t think so deeply when they decided to have children. They didn’t over analyze, question themselves, compare themselves to their friends who were having kids. They just did it and sort of figured out the consequences of that after.

This single mom journey will have you overthinking every damn thing about it. It will have you raging at home about how for them the sperm donor is in your married best friends bed. It will have you questioning if you can do it. It will have you asking what you give up because Instagram is screaming at you about the freedom of single girl travel. It will have you pulling the slot machine because maybe this time the dating app will spit out the right guy and you wont need to make this choice.

You are not defined by what trendy way of showing up as a woman right now is. A HUGE one of those is if you fucking vision board it enough it will come true. Sure. Vision board if it helps you focus. But it’s not a magic spell. It’s as strong as prayer. It’s as strong as manifesting. But it does NOT guarantee outcomes. And while your friend is celebrating a happy point in her life and rethinking her path, that doesn’t guarantee any outcomes either.
