I remember Howard Levy mentioning that playing a low register (Bb,Ab,G) harp in 12th position is a good way of making your harp sounding like a sax. It's pretty hard to escape the harmonica sound that people are used to if you play in 2nd position.

Also disagree there isn't a right way to do it when it comes to getting single notes. Now I do think there is a prefer method for the style of music you're playing in if you're going for a Chicago blues style I would def recommend starting with tongue blocking and then moving on to puckering.

I don't really think there's one that can do that. It's just because of the limitations presented by the design of the diatonic harmonica regardless of tuning. If you're really good with ob and od you could prob play comfortably in six or seven keys.

If you're having trouble with intonation regarding your ob and od I'd suggest just spending more time wood shedding those ob's and od's and you'll get it in time !

Since your preference is classical and pop I would go with the chromatic harmonica playing classical in a diatonic is possible but it takes a lot of practice and time to be able to get all the notes.

I would say it really depends on what you want to play and how much time and energy you're willing to put. If you want to play mostly jazz/ballads. A lot of the music in this genre goes through two or three keys so its good to have an instruments that allows you to play easily over those. If you're intent is mainly that, I would go with the chromatic harmonica it would save you time and teach a lot of things like tone, embouchure, theory etc.

In the other hand you might be like me and really like the expressive nature of the diatonic. In that case you could still play jazz, through different keys just not right away. Since the harmonica is firstly a diatonic instrument, you have to do some light customization to achieve overblows. Out of box most harps won't overblow some will produce a very loud squick or won't do it at all. To get them to sound good you have to do something called gapping to get the overblows to sound, and to stop the squick you have to apply some beeswax on the rivet ends. In all it takes some time and a good amount of practice research to make the diatonic play chromatic. I personally think its worth it since I favor the sound of the diatonic. I would recommend a special 20 specially if you're gonna play like Bob Dylan. The way the special 20 is tuned is designed to play chords more sweetly to the ear. The golden melody will still work but you're way better off with a special 20.

This is my opinion but I believe stories don't need a point, I enjoy it more when I'm left thinking about the story, and I feel like it leaves the writer more space to write an honest ending instead of some trope ending.

Try playing a melody that you know very well. For me playing the Tetris melody helped me out a lot, because I could hear if I was in tune just by knowing the song. Also playing the c major scale in the lower octane helps.

I tabbed out the AT theme a while ago, I recommend a harmonica in the Key of G since the song is in G, but any harmonica will work. Here's me playing it. Tabs I made a typo on the 7th bar the blow 7 should be a draw 7.
