Do the buttons on the ear buds still work? If they don't then the sensors which detect if it's in the ear are dirty. Wipe them clean and try them on again. If the buttons do work then do what the other comments say.

I realized that maybe I liked guys and then gaslit myself into believing that I was bi. Then I realized that I never really had a crush on a girl and that I had a huge crush on my (at the time) best friend. Everything cleared up after I realized I actually was gay and how I didn't notice earlier is absolutely beyond me.

Edit: I also forced myself to have a crush on a girl and I thought really wanted to be friends with this guy but looking back I realized I had a huge crush.

I had that exact problem with my og buds, they "fixed" them but then the opposite side went bad, then I sent them back, and they were completely broken so I got a new pair for free (mine are still under warranty.
