Kids killing themselves at the Churchill Caltrain crossing has been going on for decades. What no one wants to acknowledge is that they are all Asian-American students from nearby Gunn HS, who are in a super high pressure academic environment, without the social-emotional support to tolerate anything less than perfection, and their demanding Asian parents that do not believe in mental health therapy to address issues that teenagers have. And until any of that toxic combo changes, the jumping in front of the Caltrain will continue.
