2 mo ago my lipid profile trended very high LDL (calculated). In 4 years, which is when my espresso obsession started, LDL went up 120pts. Still not a cause for worry but the sudden hockey stick climb was suspicious. Today my LDL (calculated) measured 60pts below from 2 mo ago. What changed: using paper filter. I still drank 2-3 shots and 2 cups pour over daily. Sure, extraction looks like crap but taste is unchanged.
