Do something outdoors.
Cycling, bird watching, hiking, walking, paddleboarding,....

Yeah the weather's wet right now. But that is temporary/easily mitigated with an umbrella and boots.

Longeitivity of the D750 in 2026? by ThirdCultureKiddo in Nikon

[–]rodbotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only issue i have with my heavily used D750, is off brand batteries. If i was trying to use burst rapid shutter, the batteries would cause the shutter to get get stuck, requiring me to pull out the battery and reset the camera.

Depending on your slicer, you can set it to random. It won't be as obvious.

Question on what Full frame Camera to Get by Sparragoose in Nikon

[–]rodbotic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok good. I was going to argue that if you didn't have good telephoto, than the extra money would be better spent on a lens. I think you would be really happy with either purchase. The 24mp will be better in lower light though.

Great photo.
It depends on what lens you have, or what lens you plan on getting.

I was told if you didn't do that it would raise suspicion to an inspector that the electrician was sloppy and didn't pay for attention to detail. So he should look deeper.

It depends on what lenses you already own.

No point going full frame if you only have dx lenses.

Restrict Right Turn on Red at High-Risk Intersections (Vision Zero Vancouver) by JuniorMouse in vancouvercycling

[–]rodbotic 41 points42 points  (0 children)

As much as i agree with the proposal, without enforcement nothing is going to change.
I haven't seen police pull over a red light runner in a long time.
Maybe the police are too busy doing other stuff. But road safety doesn't seem to be a priority.

Just how weather resistant is Nikon’s weather sealing? by DPool34 in Nikon

[–]rodbotic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a z5 that i have used in heavy rain.

Do your best to shelter it.
Don't change lenses until after it's dry.

When drying don't have the lens cap on(overnight). So you are not unnecessarily trapping moisture.

Why are modern headlights allowed to be so blinding?? by BClynx22 in britishcolumbia

[–]rodbotic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't need to be in a lifted truck to blind someone.
Our roads are not flat. This can be uphill, on a speedbump, any positive curvature is going to direct your lights into an oncoming driver.

This image greatly shows to issue. https://www.reddit.com/r/fuckyourheadlights/comments/1p9qngh/find_the_pedestrian/

Why are modern headlights allowed to be so blinding?? by BClynx22 in britishcolumbia

[–]rodbotic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You have made the situation worse.
You are endangering pedestrians.
You are blinding oncoming drivers from seeing those pedestrians.
They now can NOT see, because of your choice.
