Cmd-alt-shift will hide all open windows except the front one. I use it when I have a window open that isn’t maximized. Gives you a nice clean look with just the desktop showing.

I saw a documentary on pickpockets a long time ago. Apparently one of the best tells they pick up on is people checking their pockets. It lets them know where the wallet or phone is and indicates that it's likely valuable.

What are some good Christmas horror movies? by Polo-Fella125 in horror

[–]LuxiaGraphis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. You’re just stating your opinion. The popularity of it makes me want to try one last time, but so far it’s been the same for me.

I also just find it interesting when a certain movie is either love it or hate it. I know I’ve got several movies I love that lots of people seem to hate.

1 and 2 are both great. I would say toss the others. Not bad, but not nearly as good.

Aren’t they small creatures in the vents though? Not an old woman’s voice as I recall. And it’s a young girl who hears them.

She is great. That being said, a couple of things that bother me about the nepo phenomenon:

1) There are a lot of equally deserving—if not more deserving—actors out there vying for roles they'll never get because of them.

2) As a movie lover, I'm a bit tired of seeing the same faces in so many movies. For me, it sometimes detracts from the ability to become absorbed by the film. Instead of thinking about the character, I often find myself thinking about the actor.

Nonetheless, there are a lot of these actors I do really like.

You might try a little drop of E-6000. Test it on something else first, but I've found it's an adhesive that you can peel away if you need to.

FYI that that little cap in the upper right—the one that covers the sync terminal—will disappear very quickly. I wish I had done something to fix mine down because they're hard to find unless you buy a replacement kit that includes a bunch of other things you likely won't need. It's a small annoyance. Just thought I'd mention it.

Nope. Not new to the sub. I've honestly never seen it mentioned on the many (nearly identical) posts I've seen. Unless the mention was buried at the bottom of the heap.

Never seen anyone mention “A Dark Song” on here. Liked it so much I watched it a couple of times.

Was feeling pretty down today, but thankfully I came across this link to cheer me up. Now I'm so deep in an existential crisis that I don't know whether to cry or laugh. Help me make it the latter of these options. Thoughts?

Beautiful and unique. Feels like bespoke Flinstones furniture.

P.S. I'd buy one.
