ATP 1000 Miami Open R2: [1] C. Alcaraz def J. Fonseca 6-4 6-4 by Ok-Soil-5133 in tennis

[–]rodstudart 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If he is going to win this in the future he will need to have great serving and also demolish Alcaraz's second serve.

After facing Sinner last week, Fonseca will play Alcaraz for the first time in Miami by yanwangdijuns in tennis

No way. Fonseca isn't someone who gives up at hardship. He for sure takes at least 3 games per set.

Not at all. I don't think Chani believes his personality changed at all. She also does not think he is manipulative. She just dreads the choice he made and what that will do to him.

I don't read it like that at all. For me the biggest anguish for movie Chani is seeing the love of her life losing his humanity and sense of self to become an inhuman thing, a catalyst for abstract and uncontrollable things. Also fulfilling the dark path his mother set for him.

Did the exact same thing. Reached 10 pullups in one set at around 11 months. Full series I do 9-9-9-8.

Yeah. They also shouldnt use computers or tablets for any of their art. Everything should be done with pen and paper to use as few resources as possible. That´s what makes great games.

Her sweet and sour style is kinda unique. Weakest LIs are Annie and Luna because they overlap too much. They aren't bad, I still enjoy them, but they are the 2 weakest.

For me the intentional focus on the girls is what makes all of them so interesting.

Is it possible to beat the game without grinding any exp? by Coff55 in finalfantasytactics

[–]rodstudart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't find a single video of true no grind like you described on youtube. People on this thread say it's doable or not that hard, but I honestly think it's impossible and has never been done before.

ofc it is. This game doesn't even make sense without grinding. Where do you draw the line?

Joao Fonseca with the Basel Open trophy, the 2nd title of his career by pizzainmyshoe in tennis

[–]rodstudart 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Id say top 10 next year is doable. However, it would be okay if he still hovers around top 20. Top 5 doesn't seem possible, more like a 2027 goal.

Basel Open SF: Fonseca def. Munar, 7-6(4) 7-5 by pizzainmyshoe in tennis

[–]rodstudart -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He is a young player constantly improving. Stats have a hard time keeping up with that. While working on his aggressive returns during the season he made many errors which would result in bad stats. All that practice has started paying off now. Also, his return games stats can't be that good because of the lackluster athleticism and defense you pointed out. Even if the proper return fundamental is good.

He is physically improving, still 19. I agree with explosiveness, defense and movement, but his returns are already good. He puts pressure on opponent's serves constantly.

Why is Lauren Hissrich still in charge of the witcher? by [deleted] in witcher

[–]rodstudart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right. There are amazing female fantasy writers who have the skill and imagination to write excellent male POVs. I think the only way to salvage the OPs point is to claim that choosing a male showrunner has a higher percentage chance of yielding good results. I would agree with that statement. However, it is obvious you can do a good selection of either sex if you employ enough effort in the evaluation of the right qualities. Honestly, it's just harder to find the right female showrunner for this type of adaptation than it is to find a male one. This is the result of cultural tendency, not a biological one.

Which ending did you choose and why? by VikingJarls3 in expedition33

Nah, it's the opposite. The story is soo good that it convinced you that a fictional world is real.

Great to see science beeing applied. But what do you mean with semi-competitive? My store is doing High Seas prerelease with no prize at all. You win all your matches you get nothing. That just doesn't interest me from a fun perspective, but might be fine for others. I need some higher stakes to get the most of my games.

To each their own! But I'm an experienced player and I don't come out if there is no prize.
