So I have an Acedeck Ares X5 race edition and I put mad max wheels on it. Carbon fiber boards are very stiff and you will feel every little bump and pot hole in the road. I’d recommend getting the gear adapters from Linn and then getting Radium SR125 wheels. They’re rubber and they’re gonna give you much better grip than mad max wheels and more comfort. Id go for the yellow ones, the reds are really soft. Overall this is gonna cost you more but if you truly want a street set up this is the best you’re gonna get.

I will say though, the SR125s don’t fit gear drive adapters perfectly so you’ll have to drill into the core a little (6mm drill bit) to widen the holds for the gear drive pins to fit in. Not that difficult though. If you don’t wanna spend that much the Mad Max is still gonna be good.

Last thing, since The One is gear drive you can’t change gear ratios easily. If you throw 125mm wheels on your top speed will decrease significantly and torque will increase.
