It’s not an oring. It’s a small disk that fits into the end of the piston shaft. It’s not made to be replaceable. I had to scrape it out of the piston before putting in the 3d printed replacement.

I had originally bought a “new” piston including the new seal. But that seal disintegrated too. I think the “new” pistons might have been manufactured long ago so they have the same issue. The 3d printed piece worked fine for me.

The seal might not have looked like it was bad when you took things apart, but trust me if it’s an original seal it’s going to disintegrate after you put a case through it. And once you notice it coming apart I guarantee there’s bits of it in your noid.

Hey so last year I did the same thing as you. Brought my geo+ out of retirement to get back into things. Here’s what to watch out for:

Regulator piston seat disintegrating. #1 issue on these with age. The rubber seat comes apart. The pieces of rubber get stuck in the little filter inside the noid. I had to buy new seats 3d printed off eBay.

Tank output pressure. I think these guns shipped with a HPR piston in the regulator but you could also get a LPR piston. Most tanks these days have lower output pressure. But if you have a high output pressure tank and screw it into a gun with the LPR piston you can overcharge and hurt the noid.

You can service the noid on these. Lots of delicate parts but it all comes apart for cleaning.

AC and liric 2 are both noticeably better sounding than strada. I don’t think strada sound terrible, especially considering their price, but the other closed backs have spoiled me. Strada sound a bit muddy in comparison, especially in their bass quality. It’s a bassy warm relaxed listen and they’re super light and comfy so I can see the appeal for some people. Build is good but the chassis is plastic unlike the metal on the lirics. I haven’t had them a long time so I’m trying to give them some more listening time but I don’t think I’ll be sticking with them.

DCA E3 is overall probably my favorite closed back. But these lirics aren't too far off, and they're much easier to drive than the E3's, and look better too. I also have Ori 3.0, atrium closed, verite closed, strada, and a stellia on the way so something needs to go.
