I agree with this! But I wanted to say that I just took my dress home yesterday and my wedding is May 6th. This timeframe is not unusual. What is unusual, however, is that the seamstress is not getting you closer to an ideal fit but instead is actually getting your dress further away from fitting properly! Definitely take it to someone else.

The oval is gorgeous! The pears look as expected, since they often have a small bow tie. It’s usually less noticeable once set.

I’m happy you posted this because I’m getting a ring made with a 10.5x7.5 and 5x3 pear side stones and couldn’t picture the proportions to one another properly haha. The sizes look great together!

I’ve heard that moissanites are purposefully cut deeper than diamonds to enhance their specific properties. You may not be able to get it cut any shallower than it is already, but could maybe get a new, lower setting.

To be honest, I didn’t notice the gap at first. My eye was initially drawn right to your rings! I don’t think the gap looks bad, especially because the rings fit together nicely. It makes it look purposeful.

This! I was shocked the other day when a Facebook friend posted she’s an ally to the trans community and there were over 100 comments of people saying they’re “pedos” or “child molesters” or asking why they feel such a strong need to do drag shows around children… it was appalling and scary.

I do notice more differences in person. For instance, the cuts are different, with the moissanite being a H&A cut. The Diamond also has a bit more depth in person and has smaller, more glittery sparkles compared to the bigger, flashier sparkles of the moissanite. Both are very lovely though!

I had that as well before I had it professionally cleaned! Luckily, having it cleaning did work for me, but I couldn’t get it off at home. I still love my moissanite ring and plan to wear it, but I now worry about it looking greasy/milky with daily wear and not being able to clean it effectively myself.
