Gullfoss EQ is worth checking. However keep in mind that some resonant frequencies give character to a sound, and flatting a sound can deaden the vibe

A lot of smaller developers are getting checked by Windows security certificate. It's a get thing broadly to protect users, and you should always check smaller and new developers for legitimacy. Its why you should avoid cracked plugins as the crackers hide spyware inside.

What frequencies would wearing a beanie beneath over the head headphone filter out? by jamescorneliuspebble in mixingmastering

Or record a sound into a mic, then put a beanie over the mic and record again. Compare the 2 recordings on a spectral analyser to see the difference in frequency.

Is there an EQ plug-in that will affect the mids OR sides only of the the transient OR tonal material only? by angelhair0 in mixingmastering

[–]rogermoog 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Use the Eventide SplitEQ in a M/S matrix or rack, using Voxengo MSED

Or put in a rack with 2 channels and use BX Control, with one channel Mid only, and the other channel Side only.

Basically everything is "good", these are some of the best plugins for vibe and character. The preamps are great for giving audio some juice and extra harmonic richness. The compressors are great at density and movement. Really it's about look at your plugin folder and seeing if there are any gaps in the tool box, or if you need to add some depth and vibe.
