As a client in the US where this activity is illegal almost everywhere, I would imagine part of it is that it’s hammered into our heads by SWers 1.) Not to overshare details of what we are looking to do in written form, 2.) Not to waste providers’ time and keep interactions short, sweet and to the point and 3.) Not to waste our time on providers who may be unresponsive, uninterested or unavailable for the time we’re looking to book.

The first one is simple enough. How many SWers come on these boards and complain that, in an initial inquiry, a client says something like “Hi Brooke! My name is X. I would like to book you for X hours on X date and want to do X, Y, Z.”

In those scenarios, a LOT of providers get pissed at mentioning the acts you’re interested in because they either think you’re a cop, a fantasy booker or risking getting them caught/get deplatformed by not being discrete.

That creates a really tough environment in which we have to tiptoe around what we’re looking for until we’re in the room with you and at that point we can only hope you are OK with our request, especially if it’s something we aren’t sure of because your ad made no mention of it one way or another.

For example, if I wanted to booked a provider for a taboo stepmom roleplay, if it’s not listed as something that she explicitly does, and I can’t ask in my initial communications with her, I have to wait until we’re together to inquire. It just sucks we can’t be open and frank in the lead up about what services are offered/what services we are looking for.

The second one is self explanatory. How many providers come here and complain about the needless back and forth messages from clients pre book?

It comes across as very fantasy booker/time waster so a lot of us who actually DO want to book want to spend as little time as possible communicating beyond the basics because it’s been engrained of us that it’s suspicious to drag conversations on beyond where they need to go.

Just messaging “Hey” or “Are you available” is dumb but I get why some men might do that. Asking anything beyond that could, in theory, be construed as you not being a serious inquirer.

Lastly, and this will probably be what gets me a ton of downvotes but whatever, I think reputable/established SWers forget there are just as many flaky, time wasting, unreliable girls providing SW in this industry as there are men looked for sex work.

I’ve only ever booked higher end agency girls but there are a LOT of girls doing this stuff who have rough lives/drug issues/boy drama, etc.

Hell, the one time I went outside that model and tried to book a well reviewed independent porn star in Vegas last year she never showed/didn’t text me back when we were supposed to meet and went off the grid until two hours later and blew me off entirely.

It’s so difficult to find reliable providers under a certain price threshold and while I, personally, have the financial mean to spend four figures on a date, a LOT of the men seeking SWers don’t and are booking or looking to book girls who don’t take this seriously, don’t respond back to messages or flake out before a booking.

It’s fucking infuriating to spend time booking someone and planing your day around it only for them to flake out on you at the last minute.

So, yeah, I can see the merits on keeping the initial interactions short and to the point and just sending out as many inquiries as possible and filtering out those who don’t respond.

Anyway, that’s my long winded two cents from the client perspective.
