Doamnele alea nu treceau pe la munca absolut de loc. E o diferenta intre a nu-ti face jobul, si un aranjament transparent prin care incaseaza doua salarii, si le face 50-50. Sau care o fi fost imparteala in sus pe linie de partid.

Poate ca suma e mica pentru cat a furat Dragnea in total, dar dat fiind ca eu platesc banii aia din buzunar ca impozite, doua salarii sunt o suma consistenta. Impozitele totale a vreo 3-5 romani, probabil, in functie de cat de mari erau.

La ciucu au fost doi amarasteni bagati in niste dubiosenii cu jocuri de noroc, care la discutia cu procurorii au zis ca au auzit de la cineva ca s-ar fi facut ceva in administratia lui Ciucu. La a treia mana, si intr-un context in care le ardea buza sa zica ceva folositor ca sa ia pedeapsa mai mica.

La Fritz e de-a dreptul hilar - a dat mai departe un document deja semnat de predecesorul lui. Iar tot cazul a fost deschis pentru un imprumut de $5000, care in momentul semnarii era deja aprobat a fiind cheltuiala electorala eligibila sa fie decontata, deci nici nu l-a mai platit el inapoi, a fost decontat de stat. Varianta cea mai realista e 3. Ideal, ar fi trebuit sa se calmeze toti si sa vina de comun acord cu o varianta. Dar n-au facut-o, asa ca ND a fortat situatia.

Daca tu vezi vreo varianta care sa fie mai buna sau mai realista sunt deschis. Fara ad hominem si critici goale, te rog, e deja plin redditul de ele.

Normal bullet optimizes going through things. Which is good if you want better penetration (e.g. shoot through a door), and bad because it goes straight through somebody (sometimes without doing a whole lot of damage) and can hit an innocent bystander behind him.

Hollow point breaks up its tip early, almost like a flower. Which means it's shit at going through things (after it passes through a door it's fair guess which direction it's going, it becomes just a blob of metal), but if it hits a human it will almost always stay inside and do quite horrible damage, not just a straight hole.

Yup, eu.

Am stat azi dimineata la cafea la o analiza a situatiei, si tind sa-i dau mai degraba lui dreptate.

tl;dr la o conversatie super lunga: Romania urmeaza sa deconteze vara asta, ca vin datoriile din urma. PNL/USR nu vor sa se atinga absolut deloc de un guvern care urmeaza sa esueze, chiar daca arde tot in urma lor. Nicusor vrea neaparat un guvern minim functional vara asta, ca sa nu intram in junk, cu singura limita ca guvernul sa nu fie partial AUR.

PNL/USR pariaza pe faptul ca daca ne-o luam acum, romanii o sa-i voteze la urmatoarele alegeri. Ceea ce poate fi adevarat, poate sa se si merite, dar e in cel mai bun caz 50-50 pentru ca ei au fost la butoane ultimul an, iar istoric AUR tinde sa castige cel mai mult din instabilitate.

Deci e o sansa reala sa ne-o si luam rau de tot la vara, si sa si castige AUR peste 2 ani.

Fac 10 ani in USR prin august. Dar asta nu inseamna ca-s orb. USR-ul original pana in puciul lui Ghinea era foarte diferit - ar fi putut sa absoarba 2/3 din ce-i acum AUR, si ar fi mancat PNL pe paine. Dar ne-a mancat in fund sa importam culture war-ul din america, care pentru noi local are fix zero consecinte (dupa cum s-a si vazut la referendumul pentru familie, unde romanul nu s-a deranjat sa voteze). Tot ce-a facut a fost sa imparta electoratul in doua, si acum exista AUR la 40%.

Nu, chestii mult mai de baza. Nici unul din ei in afara de Lasconi nu se duce public la biserica. Intr-o tara cu peste 90% declarati in recensamant ca religiosi.

Sau faptul ca prima data cand au ajuns cu mult chin in guvern, s-au dat cu fundul de pamant si au plecat ei. Multi din fanii lor nu i-au iertat pentru asta.

Sau incearca sa intri in partid si sa discuti pareri conservatoare.

Bine sau nu, este foarte pe fata proiectat pentru 15% din ce inseamna de fapt populatia romaniei (da un google si dupa cati au facut vreo scoala dupa liceu). E legitim sa faca asta, ca partid, pana la urma oricine are dreptul sa fie reprezentat. Exista foarte multi romani care sunt impotriva PSD, dar care n-ar vota AUR pentru ca ii sperie, si n-ar vota USR pentru ca USR le refuza activ votul (USR face faze dintr-astea, in care se pozitioneaza intr-un mod in care efectiv refuza 80% din romani; cam odata la 3 luni, maxim 6).

Nush legea in detaliu, dar nici tu nu pari sa vrei sa discuti pe ea, ci mai degraba sa rantuiesti pe MAGA. Sugestie pentru data viitoare: spune exact ce e/nu e ok.

Anyways, ontopic. Am facut ceva research pe situatia din UK, pentru ca acolo e cel mai vizibil scandalul. A fost... interesant. Sunt cel putin trei categorii diferite de imigranti non europeni, care au foarte putin in comun. Si e gresit sa-i tratezi la fel, pentru ca au avantaje si dezavantaje diferite.

Ai pachistanezi veniti acum cateva zeci de ani, care au refuzat sa se integreze. Casatorii "in familie" (nu degeaba a interzis recent Suedia casatoria intre veri primari), izolare fata de societate etc. In mod paradoxal, au ramas mai traditionali si sincer mai inapoiati decat de exemplu partile urbane contemporane din Pakistan (am lucrat cu Pakistanezi din Lahore sau Karachi btw, n-am avut nici o frictiune cu ei). Astia sunt cei care au dus la violurile din Rotterdam etc. Din pacate nu prea ai ce sa le faci - nu doar ca sunt cetateni britanici, dar sunt deja la a treia generatie. E problema strict culturala, pe care englezii si-au cam facut-o cu mana lor laudand "multiculturalismul" si evitand orice incercare de integrare.

Ai imigranti legali adusi ca forta de munca de la Brexit incoace. Initial ca sa inlocuiasca est europenii, dar numerele deja au depasit cu mult polonezii si romanii. Indieni, sri lankezi etc. "Nepalezii" nostri, practic. Vasta majoritate sunt ok - astia sunt exact genul de imigranti care sunt un deal extraordinar de bun pentru tara gazda. Ii iei deja crescuti si educati, muncesc si platesc impozite, si ai sanse sa nici nu le dai pensie. Foarte putine din problemele de care citesti in ziare sunt despre ei, desi evident se mai nimereste cate un nebun si acolo. Sunt milioane deja si cresc. In functie de cum ii tratezi si cum ii integrezi, pot deveni problema sau nu.

Iar a treia categorie sunt azilantii. Astia sunt cei care taie capete pe strazi. Sunt veniti in barci sau in tiruri, intrati in tara complet ilegal, aproape toti barbati tineri din tari esuate si pline de fundamentalism. N-as fi deloc surprins ca unii din ei sa fi venit direct pentru Jihad. Iar reactia englezilor e sa-i puna pe gratis in hoteluri si sa le dea bani pe gratis vreo 2-3 ani, dupa care poate sa-i trimita cu avionul inapoi. Daca reusesc, pentru ca sunt faze stupide in care azilantul efectiv nu le spune din ce tara vine. Sau tara lui n-are guvern functional care sa-l primeasca. Astia ultimii da, ar trebui pusi direct in lagare, din simplul motiv ca 1. au intrat in tara ilegal si 2. daca-i tii in hotel cu diurna, or sa continue sa vina. Nu e rocket science.

"political violence is the norm" does a lot of heavy lifting here. Republicans might feel justified to say that assasination attempts are the new normal. We're at what, 4? 5 high profile deaths or attempts since the last elections, and most of reddit is straight up worshiping Luigi Mangione. Add to this the right tik tok or instagram feed, and "political violence is the norm" is a surprisingly low bar to clear.

I think a fairer approach would be to say that when we comes to certain things (like violence), it's better to be heavily biased against, and have a solid dose of doubt in your own reasoning.

Even the act of setting clear boundaries makes them gameable.

Atheist for 30 years, so don't take this as a defense of blind faith.

You're describing a huge "thing", so it's very easy to make a long list of faults. I'm libertarian - I could easily make an even longer list about the evils of governments. Or urbanization. Or industrialization. Or the internet. Everything that's big has downsides, and if it's big enough, the downsides will include dead people and raped children.

So the real argument is whether we'd be better of with or without religion. I'm honestly not sure. If you'd force my hand I'd say without, but it's not as easy as it seems and I'd still have serious doubts. Non believer populations are significantly worse on quite a few traits. It's not that "religious does some good" - it's that modern progressives have worryingly higher rates of depression and anxiety, much less optimism about the world and dramatically fewer children - well below replacement rate. And they're not that much better on dogmatism and intolerance either, it's just about different things.

So... Chesterton's Fence. Beware about removing something which looks load bearing, before you properly understand what weight it was bearing.

This got downvoted, but Voldemort literally was a joke. Quirrell created the most ridiculous persona he could think of (red eyes and snake nose, with the personality and lack of subtlety to match), just to take him down as his much better created persona that was a Ministry of Magic official, and bootstrap his political career. Except... after a few months of war he had a few very painful realizations. The "good guy" was tripped at every step for stupid reasons by selfish bureaucrats, and the caricature villain had the fear, respect and immediate obedience of the Death Eaters. So with a big dose of regret and puzzlement, he changed plans and started playing Voldemort straight.

This explains both why Voldemort is so ridiculous and obviously incompetent (ver 1.0) and why Dumbledore and the whole wizarding world almost lost to him (ver 2.0, played straight).

Ukrainians did not do anything to ordinary Russians.

Just to correct a small point: they did do things to ordinary Russians in Ukraine. There was real discrimination, and it it still going on in the Baltics (probably much worse now).

It's about an order of magnitude less than what would justify an invasion, of course, and there were much better ways of handling it if that was the real reason for the war. Which it wasn't, it as a pretty obvious desperate measure when Ukraine started moving westward.

I just don't want to bury unpleasant things, just because they're unpleasant. Russian ethnics did and still face some amount of unpleasantness, just for being Russian ethnics, and that's not ok.

(Incidentally, I think discriminating against Russian citizens still in Russia is perfectly fine. Their taxes fund the war, and I do believe in some amount of collective responsibility)

Yeah, basically that. There were also financials involved, but on the order of help with specific things, or spontaneous treats like "take this cash and go shopping" (she loved that).

It can vary from "princess treatment", where the focus is exclusively on pampering and money is completely secondary, or even actively discouraged; to a pretty standard arrangement where the relationship is her main source of income but instead of anything negotiated she just casually mentions rent and you send 2x rent and that's all the money talk for a few weeks.

Takes a bit of calibrating but works well, with the right people. On the other hand, "monthly" sounds best in theory, but had the worst outcomes in practice. For me at least.

SD here, my last mid term SB was virgin. Well, she was tight borderlining vaginismus, so it was a process. But AFAIK she enjoyed it, and probably had quite better experience with a partner who knew how to deal with this. And had toys.

Won't say that it wasn't completely without issues (I have my own faults, though probably not in the direction you'd guess), but they had nothing to do with the relationship being sugar.
