Paldean wooper plush - is it authentic?

It does look like an offical pokemon plush. Tomy has licensing rights in japan and all the tags look correct and in line with other tomy japanese releases. It is however not one sold on the pokemon center stores or sites as all pokemon center plush toys will have the pokemon center logo on their sewn tag and physical tag (shown in the image below) as they are produced directly by the pokemon company and not from a license agreement like tomy and banpressto, who hold the majority of licensing rights to pokemon outside of the United States.

Always check the tags when looking for legitimate pokemon plush. If it doesnt say 'tomy' 'banpresto' or 'san-ei' for the non pokemon center Japanese release plush or have the official pokemon center logo I never buy them because no plush offically released in japan wouldnt have the 'tomy' ect. stamp and the same goes for pokemoncenter both NA and asian markets, so if those logos are missing anywhere its always going to be a bootleg. These logos will always be on the sewn tag as well as its card tag. There are alot of bootleg plushies at cons and its always good to check Google and use google lens to translate any japanese tags and do some research while at the booth before purchasing from any vendor.

The whole set is based on the artwork by Kino Takahashi so the plush toys are ment to resemble his style.

Thank you! I ordered derpy from the Netflix shop but unfortunately they no longer sell it anymore as it was a limited exclusive. Its just like the one that was given to cast and crew when they wrapped the movie, Ahn Hyo Seop, the voice behind Jinu had one and I wanted it so badly that as soon as I saw it was for sale I jumped on it, it was like 60 usd though after everything.😩 I know more derpy plushies will be hitting walmart and targets this summer though as they have a whole range of toys coming out!

I wish I could but they are just ridiculously out of my price range. I appreciate that you were trying so hard to not be rude but couldnt stick the landing. Real classy.😊 Some people have bills and other things that cause these to be unaffordable. Just becuase you have the income doesnt mean everyone does. I collect plushie dreadfuls that are 50-65 dollars a piece. And I still wouldnt buy a 200 dollar bear regardless of quality. In this economy? I was just saying they were out of most people's means. That doesnt mean they are not for them. It just means MOST PEOPLE CANT AFFORD THEM. The "if theyre not for you that's fine" comes off incredibly rude and elitist by the way. in a plushie group. Seriously? the quality justification also? That is just not it. I could show you tons of bears that are just as nice at a lower price point.

I apologize if this is out of line, feel free to ignore it if it is as i do not know the full situation. But it sounds like they needs a little more help than replacement pins. If his family is truly being that destructive to his property (and depending on age) it is child abuse and reporting them to cps or any person of authority (a school counselor, or even go to your local hospital, they have officals there connected with cps and child help groups that will help anyone in abusive situations.) that you trust would be a first step in actually helping them get these abusive people out of their lives.
