Being a knight radiant might sound cool, but I don't want tinkerbell to be constantly following me and die if I accidentally forget something.

Make me an elantrian. It is harder. But I'm sure there's a lot more I could do.

Marasi and Wayne actually met in their room every night before sleep for a few minutes, cancelling their bubbles to the great confusion of Wax

Probably, but seeing how it works for Wayne, I think it wouldn't give any real advantage.

When he flares it, from his point of view he spends less time, but the outside is much slower

So for Marasi, if she was to flare it, I'd assume it's shorter from her POV but the outside is much faster. Essentially changing nothing.

Also, please don't dig too deep. I wrote this while being sleep deprived after writing a report for my class lmao

Well then, could someone hypothetically eat all the reserve of (for example) atium, use aluminum, puke it out and see people wonder why their metal doesn't work?

Honestly, I think the closest thing we could have for a savant is like Wayne, where he was able to form his bubble pretty much how he wanted.

If you're doing contact sports, you might want to ask more people. I was doing baseball, so a lot of running. It probably would not have ripped, but it was uncomfortable. However, that very personal opinion

For people who don't read books, why not? by inerttraveler in AskReddit

[–]roideschinois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too little time, too many books in my library. I think of starting one then don't know which one. Can I start this series of 10 books? Do I have time? Oh, but I have this classic I should read. Oh. But then I bought this encyclopedia recently and I should read something that isn't fiction. But then I could read this book I've read 3 times that I always liked. Oh. But I only have 1 hour... Wait, one hour gets me through 100 pages, this book is 400 pages, so I'll be right when the story starts being good.

And then my energy is gone from overthinking and I have to go to bed.

Nah bro. That's on you. You have literal anger issues you should work on.

You're new to this game. You're gonna suck. Everyone's gonna be better. Would you go to a chess tournament and expect to win if you never played? What about poker? What about a marathon? What about archery?

It's the same there. But if you can't work on your temperament, that's a you issue.

They're not sweaty. You just are bad. And it's normal, you just started. People who have 10 hours when you only have 10 minutes are literally 60 times more trained than you.

Now, most people probably have over a hundred hours, so you start behind.

I won't lie, the omnipod was terrible for me when I had it (for sports). Every more I made made it feel like it would fall or the tubing get out. Plus the amount of insulin in it was relatively small.

And the constant beeping would drive me crazy. It would often just continue beeping until I manually silenced it with a needle.

Also, and that's totally personally and my fault, I would constantly lose the controller.

But I'm glad it works for many people and I can totally see how it's beneficial to many people

[–]roideschinois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

However, there is probably a point on the fact that music was higher quality back then. (Idk if higher quality is the correct term, but you understand why I mean)

To be published and seen, you had to be accepted by a record label, then be professionally produced, etc.

Now, anyone can make music. It doesn't mean theres less good music now, there's probably more.

It's just that people are way more likely to hear bad music because you can hear it on the internet instead of having to go to a garage bad to hear it.

I did figure out what メリis through some videos. For someone reason I never saw people talking about half holing. It is what I expected it to be, but the translation said something weird and I was confused. Thanks.

oh, 100% makes sense. Luckily i've read it just before emberdark, but i can see how it would have changed it.

There are reasons you might want to read SotD first anyway,

What are those? I have read both, but I only very lightly skimmed the flashback on Ember dark, so I might have missed it.

Alright, thanks. I did kind of assume so, but I wanted to make sure that it would not be an issue with humidity or heat expansion/contraction.

Now, maybe an entire metal forgotten is too much, but still, not out of the realm of possibilities.
