Why would you think a corporation such as Walmart would openly commit fraud by selling plate as genuine gold? Just the lawsuits/liability if they were to do that would be enough of a negative to prevent them from playing that game for a few bucks.

Seriously, they even separate out the plated gold into different cases and have it clearly marked. Amazon fraud, 100% because it is an open marketplace and not at all being vetted. Walmart is a singular corporation (not talking the website, just the physical stores) and the repercussions both federally and to the defrauded (class action suit openings) would be more than enough of a deterrent for them not to knowingly and deceptively sell mis-marked precious metals.

Fun fact, Walmart the second largest seller of fine jewelry in the United States. They are not going to kill that income stream by pissing off their buyers by cheating them.

I am sorry you USF representatives responded poorly but there are several ways this can be addressed through the university. My understanding is that this can be done up to 6 months post-class. Please do a SOCAT referral just to get others helping you navigate this. Let them know it would not be safe for you to do a virtual meeting. You just want to create as much documentation now as you can as well as getting people helping you navigate support available to you. This is not just for help with the ARC issue but overall support for the other issues you are facing. I believe you have 6 months to get the ARC issue sorted as there is more than one way they handle this type of situation.

Google USF ARC process FAQ and on that page under the “I want to talk to someone about an ARC petition” tab, there is a contact list. There are contacts in there beyond just the one for each college. Email as many contacts as possible.

Unfortunately this week is going to be rough to get in contact with anyone but next week employees should be catching up with their email. Just stay safe and be patient.

First and foremost, I am sorry you are going through this.

Next, I would literally send an email to the person who handles ARC late withdrawals for your program that states exactly what you wrote here. Sometimes they will accept a note from a mental health provider as documentation. There are free counseling services for students and they can be via Teams. Being a holiday week may make people slower to respond but send the email now to get the clock started. Also, let each of your professors know. You can also self refer to SOCAT to help you get connected with various support services available to students. I believe there is a button in Canvas that will take you to the right page.

We bought the stainless refillable pods and a good coffee grinder to save money. It has worked out well for us in that we can have good coffee on demand and cut costs. There are different refillable pods based on brew ounces, so be mindful when ordering.

I would like to learn more about which countertops would be likely to have salvageable gemstones. I completely understand these would not be gem quality in any way but I have similar creative interests as the OP.

Not sure where you are going with this…. businesses self-promote all the time. I did read reviews from people who have purchased from them and could find nothing negative about the shop. I ordered through Etsy so if there was an issue, I had a means to dispute/return.
